What do you think about Cowboy Bebop? If you don't know anything about it, then don't worry you will come to know all of it here. It's a Sunrise animation neo-noir science fiction series, helmed by production team Shinichirō Watanabe, scriptwriter Keiko Nobumoto, Toshihiro Kawamoto, mechanical designer Kimitoshi Yamane, and composer Yoko Kanno. Sunrise has been produced and animated by Hajime Yatanabe, a Sciences Fiction Team. In 2071, the twenty-six episodes (‘sessions') of the series follow the lives of a spacecraft dubbed Bebop, a roving bounty hunter. Cowboy Bebop derives the majority from science fiction, western or noir films, although it integrates a range of genres throughout it.
Let's know about the plot
About fifty years after an accident with a hyperspatial portal rendered the Earth virtually uninhabitable in 2071, mankind settled most of the solar system's rocky planets and moons. The ISSP established a legal contracting system under increasing crime rating to pursue and deliver offenders alive in return for the reward of registered bonus hunters (also known as cowboys).
The heroes of the series are bounty chasing people from the Bebop spacecraft. The initial crew were the exile of the exiled former Red Dragon Syndicate hitman Spike Spiegel, and the former ISSP officer, Jet Black. Later on, they are joined by the amnesiac artist Faye Valentine, an excentric hacker girl Edward, and the geneticist Pembroke Welsh Corgi with human intellect. They are a human-like artist, Ein.
Throughout the series, the team is involved in a series of disastrous mishaps that leave them without money, while also confronting faces and events from their past, such as Jet's reasons for leaving the ISSP and Faye's past as a young woman from Earth who was cryogenically frozen to save her life after being injured in an accident.
Spike and his deadly rivalry with Vicious, an ambitious criminal associated with the Red Dragon Syndicate, are the subject of the major plot arc. Spike and Vicious used to be partners and friends, but when Spike had an affair with Vicious's girlfriend Julia and decided to quit the Syndicate with her, Vicious attempted to destroy Spike by blackmailing Julia into killing him.
