Furiosa Release Date
As Stated by thewrap It was announced in September that “Furiosa” would be delayed by nearly a year, with a release date of May 24, 2024.
Delays are likely as a result of the pandemic, with Hemsworth's Netflix film “Extraction 2” being pulled out of Australia — which had been placed on lockdown due to rising cases — in order to keep production on track.
Filming on “Furiosa” was scheduled to begin in early 2022, but no further updates have been provided.

Miller also wanted to start working on the film after finishing his upcoming epic romance “Three Thousand Years of Longing,” starring Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba, which is set to be released on Aug. 31.

Former New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian predicted that “Furiosa” would be Australia's biggest film ever, generating $350 million for the local economy.
