We're getting into the Halloween spirit by producing a great list of scary movies for Friday the 13th.
Netflix has a plethora of terrifying movies to choose from, including classic slasher flicks like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street and current paranormal successes like The Conjuring and Ouija: Origin of Evil.
1. Friday the 13th (2009)
Of course, films that depict this day are the most incredible option for today's viewing. Unfortunately, the 1980 picture isn't available on the platform. Still, you can enjoy the 2009 adaptation starring Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, Jared Padalecki, Travis Van Winkle, Aaron Yoo, and Derek Mears, which stars Danielle Panabaker and Jared Padalecki.
2. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)
If you haven't already done so, check out Leatherface, the chainsaw-wielding lunatic of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, the 2003 remake starring Jessica Biel, and numerous more films are all available to view on Netflix.
3. Halloween (2007)
For whatever reason, Netflix doesn't have any other Halloween movies on their streaming service, so that I will give this one a try. The film isn't horrible, and some people like this version of the original, so if you're looking for a creepy movie recommendation, this is a good one.
4. Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)
You may get both the original Nightmare on Elm Street and its 2010 version. Additionally, Freddy Vs. Jason is now streaming.
5. The Ring (2002)
The Ring is a prime example of an urban legend based on superstition and eerie, inexplicable events. Suppose someone offered you a videotape with a curse that would kill you in seven days, and you refused to watch it. What if I told you? The Ring, a legendary horror film based on the Japanese original, is a remake.
6. It Follows (2014)
It Follows is a beautiful horror film about a supernatural monster spread through intercourse that stalks and kills its victims one by one. Once you've watched, you'll be side-eyeing everyone you see heading slowly toward you.
7. Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016)
To invite evil spirits into the family's seance business, a lady must bring an Ouija board into the mix. This frightening, overlooked horror film is a must-see for fans of Mike Flanagan. Elizabeth Reaser, Lin Shaye, Lulu Wilson, Annalise Basso, and Henry Thomas are among the film's cast members.
8. The Conjuring (2013)
In addition to the 2013 original, the sequel, and one of the spinoffs, Annabelle: Creation, Netflix also includes a few movies from The Conjuring franchise. Ed and Lorraine Warren, real-life demonologists and paranormal investigators, are played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
