Floribama Shore Season 5: Release Date: All the Things You Need to Know About This Famous Series!

Floribama Shore Season 5-MTV video crews will be on the scene wherever there are beaches on the East Coast, capturing all of the mayhem that ensues when eight people start living together with a frightening amount of alcohol. In the 2000s, “Jersey Shore” seized the zeitgeist, making Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi a household celebrity. Now, if you want to watch people argue one minute and then bond as friends the next, you can watch “Floribama Shore,” which is based on the same premise as its predecessor and follows a group of friends as they spend the summer in the same house, partying hard whenever the occasion arises.

The reality show has been on the air for four seasons, the most recent of which is the most chaotic in terms of filming. Season 4 moved the cast out of the panhandle, and filming was temporarily halted owing to a crew member contracting COVID-19 in the middle of the shoot (via Deadline). MTV has yet to announce whether the show has been renewed or cancelled, but if it does, here's what we can expect from season 5 of “Floribama Shore.”

What is the release date for Season 5 of Floribama Shore?

Season 4 of “Floribama Shore” began filming in late 2020 and will air between February and May 2021. That means the latest adventure for the Floribama team is still fresh in fans' minds, and MTV may be waiting to see if there's enough enthusiasm before embarking on another holiday. We expect filming for the fifth season to begin later this year, with new episodes arriving late in 2021 or early in 2022, assuming there are no further delays due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Season 4 provided a welcome change of scenery for the ensemble, as they were transferred to Montana, a far cry from the warm, sunny beaches of the panhandle. Furthermore, they were also transported to Lake Havasu midway during Season 4, indicating that the production team is eager to move away from the Floribama Shore portion of the reality show. As a result, there could be many more seasons to come. But that isn't the only issue that could influence whether or not Season 5 happens.

Who might appear in Season 5 of Floribama Shore?

For the first three seasons of “Floribama Shore,” the primary cast remained constant. When it came to the fourth, though, there was a notable dropout. Due to mental health issues, Kortni Gilson departed the show halfway through the season. She then told Dr Drew Pinsky in an interview that she had been a victim of sexual assault in the past and needed to avoid the cameras for her mental health.

Mattie Lynn Breaux was brought in to replace her, however, she did not return for Season 4. She faced a lot of hate on social media for her drunk driving background, and she eventually had to leave the show due to her mental health, according to Reddit.

If MTV goes ahead with Season 5, there's a significant chance Nilsa Prowant won't return as well. She announced she was expecting late in 2020, and the news played a big part in Season 4. She may not return because it would be difficult to party and spend time away from a newborn for an extended amount of time. There's also the possibility that MTV will bring in some new blood — or create a whole new cast from the bottom up. There is simply not enough information available at this time to determine who might visit the Floribama Shore.

Where is the Season 5 trailer for Floribama Shore?

There is currently no trailer for Season 5 of “Floribama Shore.” There hasn't been any news on when a new season would begin filming (if MTV decides to renew the series). It's safe to say that we won't be seeing any more Southern shenanigans for a while. Season 4's teaser was released on YouTube a little over a month before new episodes began broadcasting, so it'll take some time.

To avoid sounding pessimistic, Season 4 could very well be the series' final instalment. Many of the original cast members have now left, and Candace Rice appears to be on her way out as well. “Got the phone call of a lifetime from one of my dear writer/producer friends for a co-starring character written exclusively for me with an A list comic as a lead,” she wrote on Facebook on February 17, 2021, about a new project she was working on.

The celebration has to come to an end at some point, and it's feasible that the series will finish after Season 4. On the other hand, MTV could always introduce new people that share the same passion for partying, fighting, and hooking up as this cast. Only time will tell if this is true.
