Flight Attendant Season 2-Following its HBO premiere in 2020, Kaley Cuoco's The Flight Attendant debuted on Sky five months later, and what ensued was eight episodes of pure binge-worthy black comic pandemonium. The series, based on the Chris Bohjalian novel of the same name, begins with Kaley's character Cassie, an alcoholic flight attendant, waking up in a Bangkok hotel room next to the body of a passenger with whom she had gone on a date upon their arrival in Thailand.
As she tries to put together the events of the night and clear her name, it was nearly hard to resist hitting play on the following episode. And given the show's rousing ending and subsequent Golden Globe nominations, it's unsurprising it was renewed for a second season practically soon after its premiere. What do we know about The Flight Attendant season 2? From actors to the prospective narrative, here's what we know.
Who Will Star in Season 2 of the Flight Attendant?
While Cuoco will reprise her role as Cassie Bowden, we're also hoping to see Megan (Rosie Perez), lawyer Annie (Zosia Mamet), and her brother Davey return (T.R. Knight).
There will be some new characters, so be sure to say hi to them as well. In January 2022, it was reported that Sharon Stone, Catwoman's mother, will join the second season as Cassie's mother. According to Entertainment Weekly, she would portray “estranged” parent Lisa Bowden, who lacks “any compassion or goodwill to offer her daughter following a lifetime of battling her alcoholism.” Ooh.
Is There a Trailer for Season Two of the Flight Attendant?
While there is no complete trailer available at the moment, we do have several interesting teaser snippets from The Flight Attendant season 2, courtesy of an HBO video.
The streamer uploaded a video highlighting everything coming to the platform in 2022, including footage of Kaley Cuoco reprising her role as Cassie.
Though the film is brief, we can see three instances of Cassie in it. The first footage has her appearing extremely serious/angry/frightened while out on the street, followed by a film showing her applauding and happy while seated on a bar stool in a glam gold evening gown. Cassie afterwards appears to be surprised once more, and we can't wait to see what's going to happen.

When was season 2 of The Flight Attendant confirmed?
HBO confirmed a second season of The Flight Attendant for December 2021, only one day after the series concluded with the last episode. “To say I am overjoyed is an understatement! What will the second season of The Flight Attendant be about?
Cuoco promised viewers an “exciting and possibly a bit wild” second season, while HBO confirmed the series will take Cassie on a “new journey.” Steve Yockey, the show's creator, described season 2 as “a new Hitchcock film for Cassie to wander into.”
According to Cuoco, work on the season 2 screenplay has already begun. In August 2021, she told Variety, “The scripts are wonderful.”
Cuoco teases the upcoming series by stating that it would follow Cassie as she attempts to regain her sobriety and focuses on the CIA's renewed interest in her. “She's [Cassie] going to be attempting to live a clean life while still attempting to be who she was,” she stated in an interview with Variety.

“And I believe that is the primary issue she will face,” Cuoco remarked, “‘Am I the same person I was before?' Or are people going to take a liking to me? ‘Am I still entertaining?'”
Cuoco said, speaking on her character's fight with alcoholism: “This is someone who is her usual self throughout the day, even though she is steadily medicating herself. And it is only after everything is removed that she begins to fall.”

Cuoco also stated that Cassie's life would undergo adjustments in other areas. “She's also a CIA asset, which is a very modest position,” she explained. She is a little asset. However, she appears to be unsure of what is required of her and finds herself in a predicament she should not be in.”
Are there any significant changes in store for season 2?
There are true! To begin, Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin confirmed their departures from the series, while Heroes producer Natalie Chaidez was hired as co-showrunner alongside Steve Yockey.

But probably the most significant difference is that Series 2 will now be shot in a whole other state. While the first season was shot in New York, Bangkok, and Rome, the second will be shot in California, thanks to a large tax advantage.
When will Season 2 of The Flight Attendant premiere on television?
We haven't even heard any rumblings about it being filmed yet, but fingers crossed it will come in 2022.
