Will There Be a Season 2 of Firefly Lane?
Yes! On May 26, 2021, Netflix made a Zoom video announcement about the renewal.
We need to know if Tully's (Katherine Heigl) and Kate's (Sarah Chalke) thirty-year friendship can be restored, and the cliffhanger conclusion definitely leaves the door open for the series to continue. Don't forget about Johnny (Ben Lawson) and his time spent in Iraq, either.
“We don't have all the answers yet, but trust us, it's going to be worth the wait,” Chalke said in the video. Plus, “we guarantee that all of your inquiries will be answered.”

Firefly Lane Season 2 Expected Plot
While those who have read the book know exactly what to expect from the upcoming season, the rest of the audience is left to wonder what will happen next. The continuities and changes in Tully and Kate's friendship over time show the power of friendship. When the show's two main characters got into a brawl at the very end, viewers were understandably unnerved.
Tully and Kate grab life by the horns and go for a stroll (figuratively) together. It's heartbreaking to watch them break up after watching them power through their adolescence and midlife crises together.
But it doesn't mean we've given up on the two Firefly Lane locals or that we no longer have faith in them. Season two should pick up right where the first season left off on Netflix.

There are a lot of things we're looking forward to seeing in the forthcoming season, from Ben's continued survival to the renewal of old friendships. For the time being, we can only surmise that not all is rosy on Firefly Lane.
Cast of “Firefly Lane” Season 2
Tully and Kate, played by Heigl and Chalke, as well as the rest of the ensemble cast, including Ben Lawson, Beau Garrett, Ali Skovbye, Roan Curtis, and Yael Yurman, will return for the series finale.
Charlotte, Benedict, Justine, and Danny are new roles that India de Beaufort, Greg Germann, Jolene Purdy, and Ignacio Serricchio will play.
Does It Have a Teaser?
Yes! Sure enough, there is. Netflix on Tuesday published a preview for the upcoming second season of the friendship-focused comedy series starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke.
Kate Mularkey and Tully Hart pay a hospital visit to Johnny Ryan in this scene. In the final episode of Season 1, viewers saw Johnny hurt by a bomb in Iraq.Following this, the time-traveling series teaser showed a younger Tully telling a younger Kate that she is running away and begging Kate to come with her. After that, they are seen hitchhiking by the roadside and then hopping into a car with two nuns.
