These days, anime is more popular than ever, thanks to a wide variety of compelling and visually appealing series covering just about every imaginable subject matter. The show centers on Shinra Kusakabe, a third-generation pyrokinetic who can set fire to his feet, and is based on the manga by “Soul Eater” author Atsushi Ohkubo. In order to combat Infernals—humans who have undergone spontaneous combustion and are now akin to living flames—Shinra teams up with a group of pyrokinetics known as Special Fire Force Company 8.
By the time its second season concluded in December 2020, “Fire Force” had become one of Amazon Prime Japan's top five most-watched anime TV shows. Fans have been waiting patiently for a new season of the popular show since then, so here is everything we know about Season 3 of “Fire Force.”
When Will Fire Force Season 3 be Released?
The third season of “Fire Force” was confirmed on May 16, 2022, via the show's official Twitter account. A photo of the vicious adolescent Shinra Kusakabe posing after one of his attacks was tweeted around.
The revelation, alas, consisted of nothing more than that. There was no mention of a premiere date for Season 3, and there has been no news on the show's production or a release date in quite some time.
At least we have something to look forward to as we wait for further information to be made public; for a long time, we didn't even sure if the anime would be taken up for a third season.
The premieres of “Fire Force” Season 1 (2019) and Season 2 (2020) occurred throughout the summer. There was no news of a third season as of the end of July 2021 or the beginning of 2022.
Season 3 had been expected to premiere in July 2023 after being confirmed in May 2022. In spite of fan complaints on Reddit, “Fire Force” animator David Production is currently hard at work on an adaptation of Yoshifumi Tozuka's comic “Undead Unluck,” which is scheduled for release in 2023.

What is the Storyline of Fire Force Season 3?
It appeared in the Season 2 finale of “Fire Force” that Company 8 and the Evangelist were gearing up for a much larger war than they had previously faced. Shinra Kusakabe, realizing that he needed to get stronger in order to face Company 8's increasingly formidable foes, reached a new training plateau he dubbed “The Press Of Death.”
Company 4's Captain Hague was killed in the season finale, which was a devastating blow to the heroes. Shinra, however, is now capable of establishing an Adolla Link, which allows him to witness Hague's final moments.
We don't know what will happen next for sure, but we can extrapolate from the source material to form a reasonable prediction. The anime has mainly stuck to the manga, therefore by looking at the unadapted volumes, we can figure out what will happen in Season 3 with Shinra and Company 8.
Season 1 of the anime spanned from the beginning of the manga to the middle of Volume 11, while Season 2 spanned from the end of Volume 11 to the beginning of Volume 20. Fans of the manga know that in Volume 21, Shinra faces Captain Barns of the 1st Brigade, his toughest opponent to date.
Barns and Company 1 have joined forces with the Imperial Empire's official religion, the Holy Sol Temple. Company 8 is treated as a terrorist organization and Captain Obi is locked up as a result of the Evangelist's consolidation of power in the government.
Shinra and company don't just roll over and accept this, though. They team up with the notorious antihero Joker in an attempt to get into the Grand Penitentiary and free their captain.
Who Will Appear in The Cast of Fire Force Season 3?
As of yet, the cast of Season 3 of “Fire Force” has not been made public. However, considering how consistent the show's production has been so far, it's likely that the majority of the original cast and voice actors will return for season three.
This includes Shinra Kusakabe, who has been voiced by both Gakuto Kajiwara (Japanese) and Derick Snow (English). Kajiwara has lent his voice to a number of popular works, including “Fire Force,” “Black Clover,” and “Shadowverse”.
Meanwhile, Snow has voiced the fiery Yakuza character Mimic in “My Hero Academia,” among other major shows like “One Piece,” “Dragon Ball Super,” “Fairy Tail,” and “My Hero Academia.”
Kazuya Nakai will return to the recording booth because, according to the manga, Captain Obi will play a major role in the first few episodes of Season 3. He's been doing voiceovers for about 300 years, making him an industry veteran.
Nakai has provided the voice for numerous memorable characters, including Roronoa Zoro in “One Piece” and Toshiro Hijikata in “Gintama.” Obi is voiced by Jeremy Inman, who is second only to Nakai in terms of acting experience, in the English version.

Where to Watch Fire Force Season 3?
At first, only Crunchyroll had the right to distribute the show. However, the English dub was made available via streaming on Aniplus Asia in Southeast Asian countries. After that, the license was purchased by Hulu, Toonami, and Funimation.
The English dub may air on Funimation, but nothing has been confirmed beyond the fact that development has begun for the new season.
