Fallout 76 made arrangements to at least partially correct the course of a disastrous launch. Fans, on the other hand, would like to be able to enjoy the single-player experience that has made the series famous. As a result, they are looking forward to the release of Fallout 5.
Unfortunately, there is no word on which platforms the game will be released on or even if it will be released in the 2020s.
What’s the Release Date for Fallout 5?
Fans should not expect a release date for Fallout 5 to be announced any time soon. As of right now, Bethesda is putting forth tremendous effort to have Starfield released by 2023. After that, it intends to begin work on The Elder Scrolls VI: Oblivion's development.
Therefore, Fallout 5 has yet to be announced, and we would be surprised if it were to be released before the end of this century.
However, there is one thing that could shorten the duration of the long wait. Microsoft is the parent company of Bethesda Game Studios as well as more than 20 other studios. That implies that it also owns the rights to the Fallout video game.
It's possible that another developer, such as Obsidian Entertainment, will have something to say about Fallout 5. Because Obsidian's Fallout: New Vegas is one of the most well-received entries in the series, this model would be preferred by many fans of the game.

Other than that, there is a lot of speculation about what Fallout 5 will bring us. Bring the series back to its original home in the west would be fantastic, in our opinion.
The circumstances surrounding the New California Republic were delicate at the conclusion of Fallout: New Vegas, and the political crisis that erupted there provided ample opportunity for commentary.
The player could choose to fight for the preservation of democracy in the NCR, support the brahmin barons who control the vast herds that provide the nation's food, or support the current president's expansionist agendas and force the nation toward authoritarianism.

Which Platforms will support it?
Fallout 5 will almost certainly be a current-gen exclusive, if not entirely. Depending on when it launches, we could even see it become the subject of a cross-generational game that launches on the PS5, PS6, Xbox Series X|S, and whatever the next Xbox will be called.
In the worst-case scenario, we won't even be able to see it launch on the current generation of consoles because of technical limitations.
