It's difficult to stand out in the superhero genre now that there are as many shows as there are possible superpowers. Thankfully, the narrative of Jen, a woman who remains helpless in a world full of superheroes, proves to be as extraordinary as the name suggests.
Now, that might not sound too funny but don't underrate this show. Extraordinary is the third UK-created Disney+ original series, following Wedding Season and Save Our Squad with David Beckham, and it's also the greatest.
After you've finished flying through all eight episodes of Emma Moran's debut series, you'll want more than Jen wants a superpower—you'll want a second season. This is where we can help you out.
Extraordinary Season 2 Release Date: When Will It Air?
The renewal of Extraordinary for a second season was confirmed at the premiere of the show on January 24 and will air in 2019. Being one of the earliest Disney+ UK shows in the works, new episodes were almost certainly always intended.
With the renewal of Extraordinary for a second season, new episodes should premiere sometime in early 2024, or possibly even by the end of this year, as production has already begun.

Extraordinary Season 2 Expected Plot: What Will Happen?
Carrie has had it up to here with Kash, the world's worst boyfriend. However, Kash keeps rewinding time after each breakup to figure out what he did wrong, making it difficult to end a relationship with him. And he also hosted a great get-together.
Meanwhile, Jen finds that Jizzlord is becoming a little too possessive, so she attempts to ease off on the accelerator in their relationship. When Jizzlord overhears Jen complaining about Kash to Carrie, he does the unthinkable and runs off into the night like the stray cat he is.
Prior to that, Jen had a talk with her mother, who had been a little envious of Jen's bond with her late father. If you've seen the show, you'll understand. Kash is having a harder and harder time putting off the inevitable split as the celebration wears on.
No amount of industrial lubricant drinks, which are illegal in the EU, can revive him now that he has been awake for 28 hours straight, repeatedly rewinding time. When his strength finally gives out, Carrie takes care of business.
Kash's inability to stop the split from playing in his head is the most heartbreaking aspect of the situation, but ultimately, it's the best option for both of them in the long run. Even though this creep is hot and his wine with an umbrella is delicious.
Jen comes to the realization that she doesn't deserve this guy. Jen runs out into the night after she has an epiphany about her emotions for Jizzlord, and the two of them share a sweet romantic kiss in the pouring rain.
When Jen's mom learns that the cost of a visit to The Clinic is too much for her, the elderly man, Gordon, offers to foot the bill. A pleasant ending is shown for the season. Having done what was best for themselves, Carrie and Jizzlord have reconciled.
Jen is on the verge of acquiring her own personal superpower. The only snag here is that Jizzlord apparently runs into his wife and child on a trip to the corner store. Yes, Jizzlord had a family before he became a cat and forgot who they were.
It appears like both Jizzlord, or Jizzdad as we're starting to call him, and Jen will have their hands full with fresh difficulties in season two.
