Daisy Jones & the Six is the show on everyone’s lips right now, and it isn’t even out yet. Based on Taylor Jenkins Reid's best-selling novel, the show chronicles the rise and fall of a fictional 1970s rock band that draws inspiration from Fleetwood Mac.
Even though it doesn't come out until March 3rd, fans are already dying to know if there will be a second season of Daisy Jones & the Six. Here's what we know so far.
What is Daisy Jones & the Six About?
The show is based on the New York Times best-seller and tells the narrative of a fictional rock band led by two polarising performers, Daisy Jones, and Billy Dune.
The band quickly rise to worldwide fame and success but, after a huge sold-out show, they suddenly break up. After years of silence, the members of the band have spoken up about the real reason they split up during their peak.
Who Is in Daisy Jones & the Six?
Riley Keough, the granddaughter of Elvis Presley and the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, plays the primary role of Daisy Jones in the series.
Sam Claflin is the main character. Billy Dunne is portrayed by Sebastian Chacon; Camila Morrone is Camila Dunne; Suki Waterhouse is Karen Sirko; Will Harrison is Graham Dunne; Josh Whitehouse is Eddie Roundtree; and Billy Dunne's brother Graham Dunne is portrayed by Sebastian Chacon.
Will there be a Season 2 of Daisy Jones & The Six?
The renewal of Daisy Jones & the Six for a second season has not been announced, and there isn't much material to work with because Taylor Jenkins Reid only wrote one book on the narrative and the characters.
Nonetheless, the show could deviate from the source material and provide new plots, increasing the likelihood of a sequel or spin-off. While I'm sure we'd all like to see more of Daisy and Billy's romance develop.
