American Gods Season 3 Overview

After being freed from jail, Shadow Moon encounters a mysterious man named Mr Wednesday and quickly becomes entangled in a large-scale war between the Old Gods and the New Gods, who are growing stronger by the day.
The sitcom was revived for a second season in May 2017, and it premiered on March 10, 2019. Starz renewed this show for a third season.

Shadow Moon is informed that his wife has died in a car accident only days before his scheduled release from jail. He is freed early to attend the burial. However, his travel home is delayed due to a sequence of incidents. During this time, he encounters the enigmatic Mr Wednesday.
Wednesday continually offers Shadow a job, which he declines until Wednesday reveals that the position he was expecting at home is no longer available. So Shadow takes the position of minder (driver/assistant/bodyguard) for Wednesday.
Shadow is transported to a hidden realm where magic exists. The Old Gods fear becoming irrelevant in the face of the New Gods, including Technology and Media. Mr Wednesday seeks to unify the Old Gods to preserve their existence and reclaim the power they have lost in a great strategy to resist this terrible menace. Leaving Shadow struggling to accept this new reality and his position in it.

Will There Be a 4th Season of American Gods
Having a total of 10 episodes and less than one hour for each episode, season 3 can be completed in about 9 hours. Shadow Moon goes to Lakeside, Wisconsin, under a new name to avoid the New Gods in the third season.
Having a viewership of 0.21 Million for the first episode and 0.18 for the last one, the show was doing above average undoubtedly and should have been continued. However, the officials have made it clear, and there won't be Season 4 for American Gods.
