Enter the World of Upside Down Magic

Disney+ and Disney Channel are preparing to transport their viewers back to the academies of magic. Upside-Down Magic, a Disney+ original film, is expected to premiere on the channel soon. The film is based on Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins' bestselling scholastic book of the same name. The storey follows two best friends, Nory Boxwood Horace (Izabela Rose) and Reina Carvajal (Siena Agudong), as they enrol in the Sage Academy of Magical Studies, a magic school.

What The Upside Down Magic is All About?

The best of friends Reina Carvajal and Elinor “Nory” Boxwood-Horace realise they have magical abilities: Nory can transform into animals, while Reina can control fire. They get accepted into Sage Academy, a prominent magic academy. There are numerous classes for each student at Sage Academy: the Flare class is for individuals who, like Reina, can produce fire with their hands.

The Fluxer class is for those who, like Nory, can transform into animals. The Flyer class is for people who are capable of flying a few feet above the ground. The Fuzzy class is for those who have the ability to communicate with animals. The Flicker class is for those who have the ability to attract things to themselves.

Reina displays her flare abilities, while Nory accidentally transforms into a cat/dragon hybrid while attempting to morph into a cat. Reina is assigned to the Honors Flare class, while Nory is assigned to Budd Scriff's Upside-Down Magic programme. Students with flawed skills are admitted to this program because Headmistress Knightslinger believes they are easy candidates for Shadow Ability, an evil power that utilises a person's magic against everyone else through possession.

Headmistress Knightslinger is unaware that the Shadow Magic has methods of targeting the most unlikely students, as Nory and her fellow students discreetly aim to perfect their powers while supporting Budd in his groundskeeping.

Budd discovers that his students are secretly honing their skills and decides to assist them while keeping Headmistress Knightslinger in the dark. Reina prepares for Founders' Day the next day, where she will compete against Phillip. Reina's abilities are exceptional, and she is chosen to represent the Flares. Nory tries to enter the competition as a kitten, but instead transforms into a wild boar/cat/dragon hybrid. Reina performs Nory's favourite Flare move to shock him out of it, but it almost burns Nory due to Reina's extremely enhanced powers.

Siena Agudong

Is an actress from the United States who began her career as a child actress. She is noted for her appearances in Nickelodeon's Star Falls, Netflix's No Good Nick, the film Alex & Me, and Disney Channel's Upside-Down Magic.

Kyle Howard

Howard grew raised in the Colorado town of Loveland. He's done both cinema and television work. House Arrest, in which he co-starred with Jamie Lee Curtis, Skeletons, Orange County, and The Paper Brigade, are among his cinematic credits. His work includes a Coca-Cola commercial with talking ice cubes that are eager to get drenched in the beverage.

Alison Fernandez

Fernandez was born in the borough of Brooklyn, in the state of New York. She began acting at the age of five in community theatre in New York City, and she hasn't stopped since. She is Manuel Fernandez's daughter, and he has been her manager since she began performing. Sabrina, her older sister, is an actor as well. Fernandez studied acting for theatre, singing, and dancing at A Class Act in New York.

Vicki Lewis

Lewis grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, as the daughter of Marlene Lewis, a nurse administrator, and Jim Lewis, an air traffic supervisor. Denise is her younger sister. Lewis graduated from Cincinnati's Anderson High School in 1978. She attended the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music, where she majored in musical theatre. She moved to New York City after earning her diploma. She then went on to work in a number of Broadway and off-Broadway productions.

Disney Channel Original movies aren't available on Disney+ as frequently as one may think. Disney Channel movies are usually available on their OTT platform, Disney Plus, in six months. Zombies 2, for example, which premiered on the Disney Channel on February 14th of this year, will be added to Disney+ in the United States on August 14th. Descendants 3 premiered in August 2019 and was released on the Disney+ app in February 2020.
