Until now, few games have generated as much hype and excitement as Elden Ring, the latest project and brand-new IP from legendary developer FromSoftware, the creator of Dark Souls, and many other notable titles. Many fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Elden Ring on its new release date of February 25, 2022, which has been postponed from its initial release date of January 21. Yasuhiro Kitao, the producer of FromSoftware's Elden Ring, addressed concerns about the game's release date at the Taipei Game Show 2022, stating that everything is on track.

A day-one patch will be scheduled

It appears that the “master version has already been submitted,” according to Kitao, indicating that Elden Ring has officially gone gold, which is a gaming industry term that indicates the game is finished and ready to be printed on disks. In addition to taking feedback from the previously closed network test, the team behind the long-awaited RPG is currently working on a day one patch for Elden Ring. This patch will include a slew of fixes and tweaks to make the game even better when it launches on October 26th.

Additionally, Kitao revealed a great deal of information about Elden Ring and answered questions from the audience throughout the show and interview. Elden Ring is expected to be an enormous role-playing game adventure filled with challenges and lore, and this was confirmed during the show's panel discussion. According to Kitao, the campaign of Elden Ring “should be able to be completed within around 30 hours” for the majority of players, with significant amounts of additional content layered on top of the main campaign. In general, players can expect to spend dozens of hours in Elden Ring if they so choose.
