What is Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2?

This collection of the first two Dragon Quest Heroes games is being released for the Nintendo Switch as Dragon Quest Heroes I + II.

It was initially launched in Japan as a launch title, however, it will be distributed in the North American and European areas later on.

It is a musuo-style title that features characters from throughout the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest Heroes 1 Plot

People and monsters coexist harmoniously in the Kingdom of Arba. Luceus and Aurora, the Royal Guard's commanders, were tasked with recovering the hearts of monsters when they were unexpectedly attacked by monsters.

It's the evil Velasco's plan to unleash the darkness dragon Shadroth: Lord of the Night by seizing control of all monsters and plundering the earth.

All of the creatures who once lived peacefully alongside humans in Arba are unleashed into a frenzy when a dark shockwave sweeps the city.

A cast of characters from past Dragon Quest games such as Alena, Bianca, and Yangus are brought together by the player to battle the raging hordes of monsters and return the realm to order.

Dragon Quest Heroes 2 Plot

The action of the story takes place in the Seven Realms, a collection of countries that surround the capital of Accordia, where the story is set.

Thousand years before the start of the game, the Seven Realms were engaged in a cruel conflict that was brought to an end by the wisdom of a great king named Unos, and his successors have continued to uphold the peace that has existed between them until the current day.

A sudden and unprovoked invasion of the port kingdom of Harba by the neighboring kingdom of Dunisia, where their friend Prince Cesar lives, forces the primary protagonists, cousins Lazarel and Teresa (the major characters), to defend their homeland.

The cousin's journey to Dunisia, accompanied by Desdemona, a royal guard of the King of Accordia, in order to meet Cesar, who believes the king of Harba is responsible for the death of his father.

The subject is brought before the King of Accordia, who advises that the four of them embark on an investigation into the realm of Ingenia in order to track out the true culprit.

Over the course of their journeys, Lazarel and Teresa come into contact with a number of heroes who claim to have come from other dimensions (the worlds of past Dragon Quest games).

They agree to follow the cousins as they investigate the growing unrest throughout the Seven Realms, which culminates in a full-scale battle with the Kings of the Beastlands at the end of the investigation.

An agreement on a cease-fire is reached after a long and arduous battle, and Accordia rejoices at the conclusion of the conflict.

He arrives out of nowhere, accompanied by what appears to be his twin brother, and proclaims that all of humanity would be put to death as a result of the King's declaration. After confronting the Kings in Accordia's castle, Lazarel and Teresa continue to fight them until one of the twins kills the other.

The “twin” is revealed to be Fractos, Unos's brother, who initiated the conflict 1,000 years ago and has been manipulating recent events (including the death of Cesar's father) in order to bring the planet to its knees in darkness.

The pandemonium causes Lazarel and Teresa to learn that they are not cousins as they had first believed, but twin siblings and descendants of Unos, as they had previously assumed. They defeat Fractos by pooling their resources and later ascend to the position of kings in Accordia.
