Devotion Movie: Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Story | Where to Watch It?

War movies based on actual historical events have always been interesting because they show how brutal war is for soldiers. From gunfights on the battlefield and in the trenches to dogfights in the air or battles between warships at sea to international espionage, war movies have a lot of ways to show how dangerous life can be.

Throughout the history of war, these life-or-death situations have given rise to stories of brave people. There are also many stories, especially about people who may not be as well-known or well-known to the public.

Thankfully, many filmmakers have taken on the task of showing people less well-known historical events or war heroes. Whether it's Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk or Dominic Cooke's The Courier, it's an excellent chance for moviegoers to learn about events or people who might not have been taught in school.

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Black Label Media will release the historical war movie Devotion in October this year. It will be part of this group of movies. Before we watch this war movie about planes, here's what we know so far about Devotion.

What is Devotion About?

Based on Adam Makos's book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice, the movie will be about Ensign Jesse Brown, the Navy's first African-American carrier pilot, and Lieutenant Thomas “Tom” Hudner, who was his wingman.
