NBA player Devin Armani Booker (October 30, 1996 – present) is an American professional basketball player who now plays for Phoenix Suns in the NBA (NBA). Booker's father, Melvin, was a former NBA player.
After one season of the collegiate ball with the Kentucky Wildcats, The Phoenix Suns picked Booker with the 13th overall choice in the 2015 NBA draught. High school career
As a student at Grandville High School in Michigan, Booker played for the freshman, junior varsity, and varsity basketball teams. After his father retired from professional basketball, Booker went to Mississippi to live with his father. It was in August 2011 when his father was appointed as an assistant coach at Moss Point High School.
Booker led his squad to a 52–32 loss against Gulfport High School in the team's sixth game of the season.
Moss Point's record improved to 4–6 as he made a buzzer-beater from just beyond half court in December against Harrison Central High School.
