Delivery By Christmas Movie Review- A Film With Unclear Plot!

Delivery By Christmas Movie Review: During this most delightful time of the year, we can find comfort & joy in even the most poorly performed, poorly written & cheesiest of movies. In Netflix's Polish romantic comedy film Delivery by Christmas, kooky characters & cliched holiday imagery are meant to put viewers in the holiday spirit. The film fails to hit the right humorous notes & fails to take the relationship far enough, leaving me feeling more downcast than festive by the conclusion.

The film stars a large ensemble & was directed by Aleksandra Kulakowska & Maciej Prykowski. Among the actors & actresses featured are Tomasz Schuchardt, Lukasz Simlat, Miroslaw Baka, Dorota Kolak, Piotr Pacek, Zdzislaw Wardejn, Maria Maj, Monika Frajczyk, Marek Kalita, Justyna Karlowska, Barbara Kurzaj, the acting is generally rather good, the characters have nice chemistry & the story is told in an authentic way, therefore all of them should be commended.

Delivery By Christmas Plot Synopsis

In her hometown, Molly runs a popular bakery. Bradley Cooper, a recent widower & Bobo from “A Star is Born,” has relocated to the little town with his son, a really cute young youngster whom he has evidently never met before, as the two performers have zero parent/child relationship. The Bradleys, Bobo's brother & sister-in-law are eager to introduce him to the local singles scene.

After some convincing, he agrees to help plan the Christmas cookie competition. Meanwhile, he runs across Molly everywhere from a Christmas tree lot to an ice cream shop. They flirt subtly, but Molly mistakes his sister-in-law for his wife because she overhears him chatting with her brother. Nonetheless, he contacts her bakery to make an order because he is in charge of the cookie thing.

The two strike up a conversation over the phone. He mourns the loss of his wife, she laments her rejection at the altar. She realizes that she has been chatting with the hot guy who works at the Christmas tree farm. As the comedy of errors continues, the situation is resolved at the Christmas fair & the audience is treated to A KISS WITH TONGUE. Speaking French in a Hallmark movie? I mean, Mon Dieu!

Delivery By Christmas Movie Review

Films released around the holiday season tend to be bright & cheery. Delivery before Christmas lacks any order of this kind, so it's impossible to envisage anything like this happening. As the story progressed, it was assumed that our 2 leads would end up together. The thing is, this never occurs either.  The movie tries its hardest with each new scene to bring down the graph & it succeeds each time.

Delivery By Christmas Movie Review

Krzysztof is a useless figure who exists solely to annoy the nice & hardworking Marysia & at Christmastime no less! The film Delivery by Christmas is abysmal & directionless. The actors appear to be giving their all, but it is unfortunately wasted on such a horrible story. A fantastic film could have been made with the materials presented in Delivery by Christmas.

Instead, it is ruined by the makers & comes off as an unfinished movie.  Some humorous moments are present, but they are not enough to compensate for how dull the film's two major characters are. I anticipate that the vast majority of viewers will leave the movie at a convenient point. Only the acting in this picture is any good; the film's purpose & plot are both unclear. Avoid the 100-minute time sink that is Delivery by Christmas.
