Season 11 of Death in Paradise stars Ralf Little as DI Neville Parker and Josephine Jobert as DS Florence Cassell. And it's finally been disclosed when it will air in the United States after airing in the United Kingdom.
Season 10 of Death in Paradise ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, with Neville about to disclose his true love to Florence. That narrative went on in the first-ever Death in Paradise Christmas special.
So don't read the plot part if you haven't seen the festive episode! We already know there will be a season 12 of Death in Paradise, and a second Christmas special has been confirmed.
Ralf Little says of this series, “We have a good number of exciting things!” We have a skydiving episode, a kidnapping, a death in the middle of a performance, which is fantastic, a case at a rehab clinic, and an entire episode concentrated on a chess battle!
“These cases are as bold and diverse as ever – every time you read a new episode, you slightly wonder at it.” It's straightforward to get comfortable, but they're pretty ambitious with the scale of things they like to tackle on Death In Paradise, so it constantly keeps us on our toes and thinking.”
Here's everything we know about Season 11 of Death in Paradise.
What's the Plot of Death in Paradise Season 11?
Neville expressed his affections to Florence through video chat in the Christmas special. So the main question in the upcoming series appears to be whether Neville and Florence become a couple. And what if it works out/doesn't work out for the couple?!
The message kept frozen, but Florence had had enough by the end of the Christmas special. She told Catherine she had no idea what she was going to do, so we'll have to wait for Florence's next move.
Meanwhile, the BBC has revealed several new narrative pieces of information for the upcoming series. Izzy (Kate O'Flynn), Neville's sister, will appear and cause havoc for her brother. Meanwhile, Florence is requested to go undercover to solve a drug trafficking case on another island; how will she react?
The BBC also promises that the team will have lots of unusual crimes to solve! “When a skydiver dies, reportedly stabbed in mid-air, the case appears unsolvable.” Murder on a golf course, a serial murderer at a concert, and a puzzling case at a rehab facility all put the team's distinctive abilities in series 11 to the test.”
Who is in the Season 11 Cast of Death in Paradise?
Ralf Little reprises his role as DI Neville Parker, and Josephine Jobert reprises her role as DS Florence Cassell. Don Warrington, the show's only surviving original cast member, will reprise his role as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson.
Catherine Bordey is played again by Elizabeth Bourgine. In addition, Tahj Miles returns as Marlon Pryce after making a significant impression in Series 10. Meanwhile, Naomi Thomas, a young, ambitious sergeant, has joined Shantol Jackson.
“I'm extremely happy for this incredible opportunity to join the cast of this fun-filled, engaging series,” says Shantol. I used to watch Death in Paradise with my father in Jamaica when it first aired years ago, and to now be in the show, knowing that he'll be watching me, is extremely weird.
I'm excited to contribute to the magic!” Kate O'Flynn appears later in the series as Neville's sister Izzy Parker. Ginny Holder plays Darlene. Darlene had previously been on the show but is now a season regular.

Death in Paradise Cliffhanger Explained
As DI Neville Parker (Ralf Little) attempted to profess his love to DS Florence Cassell (Joséphine Jobert), Series 10 ended on a dramatic cliffhanger. He managed to say, as he stood on her threshold, attempting to calm his nerves and find his courage: “What I wanted to say was…” – and then the credits rolled.
Tim Key, the Executive Producer, told Metro: “All I can say is that when the program returns, viewers will undoubtedly find out what happens next; when it returns, we will notify everyone.
It isn't easy in situations like Neville and Florence's because bringing individuals together can dramatically end a partnership. Still, you can't drag things out too long because the audience becomes frustrated.
We have a pretty good idea, we know where it's going, and the audience will be delighted with it; there's a tale to tell, and I believe we needed the time to say to it.”
“We're being a wicked little hooking how we've hooked, but it's not because we don't know where the tale is going; we know precisely where it's going, and it's cool,” he continued.
