Although a release date for Deadpool 3 has yet to be confirmed, we do know that the film is officially in development at Marvel Studios.
The threequel will be written by Bob's Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin, who will begin work on it in November 2020. Although the project is still in the early stages of development, Ryan Reynolds stated in August 2021 that filming will begin in 2022.
Kevin Feige, the CEO of Marvel Studios, also acknowledged in August 2021 that the studio had a release window in mind for Deadpool 3, though he did not go so far as to say when that may be.
Even though we have yet to receive another significant update on the film, we may take comfort in the idea that it is undoubtedly in the works and that we will see it at some point.
Meanwhile, while we await the arrival of Deadpool 3, here's all you need to know about the film.
Deadpool 3 release date rumor: When will Deadpool 3 be launched on the big screen?
Even though Marvel Studios has confirmed Deadpool 3, no official release date has been announced.
As previously stated, we now know that long-time Bob's Burgers writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin have been hired to create the third installment of the popular television series. As reported by Deadline, the sisters were chosen after Reynolds determined that their approach was the “perfect fit.”

Even though there are now writers on board, the third film is still in the early stages of development, so we shouldn't expect to see it anytime soon. Reynolds did imply that filming for the picture could begin in 2022, but he also confirmed in October 2021 that he was taking a vacation from acting for a while.
Depending on whether or not it begins production in 2022, there is a possibility that we will see it in 2023. Even though Marvel already has three films scheduled for that year (The Marvels, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and Ant-Man 3), there remains one date available: November 3.
The likelihood is that we'll have to wait until 2024, at the earliest. Following the announcement of a more exact start date for filming, fans will be in a better position to predict when the Merc with a Mouth will make his return.
Deadpool 3 cast: Who will appear in the third installment of the Deadpool film franchise
Ryan Reynolds will resume his role as Wade Wilson in Deadpool 3 if there's one thing you can count on. We'll have to wait and see who else joins Reynolds before we know for sure.
In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Marvel fans are already speculating that he could reprise his role in the film, as he appears on the poster. In May 2022, we'll find out if that happens.
Reynolds made his MCU debut in a commercial for Thor: Ragnarok with Korg, a character from the film.
The X-Force squad in Deadpool 2 introduced us to a slew of new heroes, including Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz), some of whom didn't make it out alive.
Although Beetz hasn't heard anything about a job since March 2021, she's not sure whether she'll return: “I'd be thrilled to return to the role… I haven't spoken to anyone about it. However, you have piqued my curiosity.”
Assuming the X-Force returns, Colossus, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Yukio, Russell, and Peter will all be back, they'll likely form the core of the team, potentially with Peter (Rob Delaney) in tow.
Shatterstar (Lewis Tan) and Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgrd) are unlikely to make a comeback in Deadpool 3, but superheroes typically manage to survive death in the comics, so never rule it out.
Vanessa, Deadpool's girlfriend, has previously cheated death (if the post-credits sequence in Deadpool 2 is canon) and it's safe to assume that she'll be back for the sequel as well.
Fans have accused the sequel of “fridging” Vanessa because of her lack of screen time. Baccarin, however, defended Vanessa's lack of screen time. I understood why people felt that way and I was heartbroken that I didn't have more to do, since I simply adored the character,” she remarked.
Because of my character's actions, the entire storyline of his character is set into motion.” “However, when I watched and read the script, it felt like such an emotionally significant role in the picture.”
Previous Easter eggs have suggested that Mr. Sinister could turn out to be the big enemy of Deadpool 3. The Merc with a Mouth may struggle to protect her.
Otherwise, a cut cameo by Omega Red in the Ice Box Prison scene in Deadpool 2 could hint at what's to come in the series.
TJ Miller, who previously portrayed Weasel in the first two films, has stated that he'd “rather they didn't” produce the third film, so we won't be too upset if he doesn't appear.
There has been a long-running feud between Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds. We have no way of knowing.

Ahead of the release of Deadpool 3, what is the plot of the film?
“Often, they relaunch or modify a character maybe like four movies too late,” he said in a teaser statement about the upcoming threequel.
Although we don't know if this is exactly what the Molyneux sisters plan to do with Deadpool, they already have to deal with the fact that Deadpool may or may not fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
No matter what Deadpool's original director said, the movie will be rated R, so you won't have any worries about that. We have declared we would not tinker with [the rating] because Deadpool has “established” itself as an R-rated brand, Feige affirmed in February 2021.
As of now, it's unclear how the film's MCU ties will affect the series' continuity from the first two films, or if it will be a soft reboot in actuality. If time travel is more prevalent in Deadpool 3, what does this signify for the future of the character?
Previously, Negasonic Teenage Warhead had been working on Cable's time machine so that Deadpool could correct the wrongs of the past, including an unfortunate but amusing career choice by Ryan Reynolds.
“I certainly think that this universe… needs to portray and reflect the world in very true ways,” he added in a statement.
If Marvel wishes to introduce other characters from Fox, Deadpool 3 could be a good place to start. In an interview with Den of Geek, Wernick hinted that the future of Deadpool could be heavily influenced by crossovers.
“There's a lot to figure out, such as where Deadpool fits into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and when he'll be appearing in future films. Is it possible that the X-Men get into the building? What are the Fantastic Four? you ask. There is a great deal to be resolved.”
According to Leitch: “If you include [Deadpool] with any of these characters, or even a group of them, the effect is amplified. They may be thinking about that, and we can only hope that they are considering other options as well.”
However, since Leitch has not spoken to Disney, this is just conjecture on our behalf and his.
The Release Date of the Deadpool 3 Trailer
Since filming on the third film has yet to begin, we're afraid we won't see a trailer for it for quite some time. For the time being, keep a watch out for Ryan Reynolds' funny teases on social media.
