Dark Desire Season 3-After a long break, Netflix's most erotic drama, Dark Desire, returns with Season 2. Leticia López Margalli's Netflix romantic thriller Dark Desire has returned this week. It's a seductive thriller telenovela from Spain.

It's packed with betrayals, hookups, and surprise twin brothers, staples of telenovelas worldwide.

After the premiere of Season 1 in 2020, both fans and critics praised the show. It became Netflix's most popular non-English show almost instantly.

Critics appreciated the film's outstanding production value and intricate plot. The guilty pleasure factor, as well as lots of filthy lovemaking scenes, keep the audience enthralled.

Season 3 of Dark Desire Has a Release Date

On February 2, 2022, Netflix published the second season of Dark Desire. Netflix renewed the series for a second season on August 19, 2020, following the first season's immense popularity. In the second season, 15 short episodes ranged from 32 to 40 minutes. Let's discuss whether or not there will be a third season.

The fact that the second season will be the series' final chapter was also revealed. However, in circumstances where the show is top-rated, the viewers' opinions are critical. As a result, we can't rule out the possibility of a Dark Desire third season, mainly if fans demand it.

Furthermore, a few loose ends at the end of the second season keep us interested in the third season.

Though doubtful, there is yet a potential for a return. After all, if the overwhelmingly positive response leads to miraculous occurrences, Dark Desire Season 3 might be on the way, with a release date of 2023.

Season 2 of Dark Desire Plot

The second season's plot picks up where the first one left off. Alma is distraught and attempting to recover her life now that she is going to live with her parents.

  • Her university career was taken away from her, her marriage to Leonardo ended in divorce, and she has a strained relationship with her daughter Zoe.
  • Alma is wholly smitten with Dario and sees him everywhere, and his image haunts her sleep.
  • She enrolls in a women's counseling program, where she meets Lys, a strange middle-aged woman with a dark secret of her own. With his newly acquired inheritance, Dario travels to Mexico to marry Julieta, his true love.

What Can We Expect From Dark Desire Season 3?

It's probable that if a third season is developed, it will continue the plot after Dario's conviction and document the consequences. Dario could be able to evade capture and end up following Alma.

We still don't know Esteban's role, and a third season could provide us with more insight. We might also learn more about Esteban's relationship with Lucinda and whether Dario is Esteban's son.
