Cristela Alonzo has come back to network television with a new position: game show host, more than seven years after she made history as the first Latina to develop, produce, write, and act in her primetime sitcom.
Alonzo will host “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” an adult adaptation of a popular adventure game show aired from 1993 to 1995 on Nickelodeon, as part of The C.W. Network's effort for seven whole nights of original content.
Alonzo, 42, who grew up with 90s pop culture, observed that the emergence of “Legends” was a component of an enormous boom in kid-friendly game shows. Therefore, when executive producer and co-creator Scott A.
