If you are here to read about “Cow Film Reviews, then I can bet that you are an animal lover. Am I right?
The documentary depicts the life of a dairy cow. “The film is an attempt to think about cows, in order to bring us closer to them. To be able to recognise both their beauty and the difficulties they face in their life. “Not in a romantic manner, but in a genuine way,” Arnold explained.
On July 8, 2021, it made its international debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Mubi had already purchased the film's distribution rights in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Turkey.

About Cow Film
Luma, a huge female dairy cow who, when we first meet her, is giving birth to a calf with the aid of a few kind and diligent farmers, is the topic in issue. Luma cries out in despair as her calf is carried away to a different section of the farm, and the two are rarely seen together after that.
Luma returns to her day job of having her udders pumped, along with dozens and dozens of other cows, by an industrial-sized spinning device that looks like the most boring attraction at Bovine Disney while the baby is fed with a bottle. This is not a joyful place to be, despite the enticing pop melodies blasting from speakers inside the massive milking parlour, including hits by Billie Eilish and, for a Christmas special, The Pogues.

MK2 Films' Fionnuala Jamison stated the business has been “quite enthusiastic admirers of Andrea Arnold's work for a long time.” “Fish Tank” was distributed in France through the auteur-driven label. “It's both exhilarating and a true honour to work on ‘Cow' in a larger role, and we can't wait to show this incredible picture to buyers in Cannes,” Jamison added.
It's a documentary about one dairy cow's reality and the importance of her contribution to humans. When I look at Luma, our cow, I see the entire globe in her,” the famous filmmaker continued.
Kat Mansoor produces “Cow” for Halcyon Pictures. Rose Garnett of BBC Film and Sandra Whipman and Maxine Franklin of Doc Society are executive producers.
Joachim Trier's “The Worst Person in the World,” another competition submission for this year's Cannes Film Festival, is also handled by MK2 Films.
