What is the Plot of Cocaine Bear?
The movie is based on a true story about an American black bear that goes on a killing spree after eating a duffel bag full of cocaine. Also, the real story happened in December 1985. A 175-pound (79 kg) American black bear died in December 1985 after eating cocaine from a duffel bag.
Andrew C. Thornton II, a former narcotics officer who was convicted of smuggling drugs, dropped the cocaine out of his plane because it was too heavy. Thornton then jumped out of the plane, but his chute didn't work, and he died. After three months, the bear and 40 opened plastic containers of cocaine were found in the north of the state of Georgia.
Also, according to the reports, the official synopsis of the series says, “An American black bear goes on a murderous rampage in a small Georgia town after eating a duffel bag full of cocaine. A group of locals and tourists must work together to survive the attack.”
