He wrote on Twitter, “We were wrongly said to have said that there would be six seasons. We've said many times that we wanted at least six seasons. But we'll see.”On the same day, Hurwitz also wrote on Twitter, “All I can say is that we can expect more Cobra Kai and that the Miyagivere is far from over.”
No matter how exciting this news sounds, at the end of the day, Netflix is stuck with the choice. Before deciding to renew the show for the next season, the streaming giant would have to look at how many people watch it.
Since Cobra Kai has always been famous, it shouldn't be too hard for Netflix to pick it up for the sixth season. So, let's hope things go well.
