Carnival Row Season 3: Renewal or Cancellation?

When Carnival Row was first launched on Amazon Prime Video, it exactly match the taste of the viewers who are likely interested in slick and stylish fantasy stories. A seeming to-be-developed love story between lead characters played by A-listers Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne an allegory for immigration and racism. This American neo-noir fantasy TV series makes you astonishing by thrilling graphics. Creators and directors  René Echevarria and Travis Beacham portray the fascinating story in a unique way.

Till now we are acquainted with 2 seasons having 8 and 10 episodes respectively. The television series is highly appreciated and nominated for Best Genre Series at the 2020 Satellite Awards.

What Happened at the End of Carnival Row Season 2?

Carnival Row covers themes such as fantasy, steampunk, romance, war, racism, classism and political intrigue in the world of “Carnival Row”. Human wars have found their way to the fairylands leading to a mass exodus of fairies, fawns and others to the human nations. In season 2 episode 9 titled “Battle Lines” Rycroft. Philo Philistrate and Vignette Stonemoss find themselves on opposite sides of the battle lines as New Dawn arrives in the Berg and sows seeds of Revolution.

Meanwhile, Agreus Astrayon and Imogen spurn Rose tried to rebel against the revolutionaries with disastrous consequences. In episode 10, titled “Carnival Row” it all comes down to the choices made by the residents of the eponymous neighborhood.

Episode 9 begins with Tourmaline, Karla Chrome finds herself trapped in a mirror and speaks to IFA sagani the Hera specs before her who tells her that death is not the end of the road assuring her successor that her story has just begun as Philo tries to find out the identity of the Sparus. He figures out that the tourmaline's vision can help him in this regards. But Darius opposes this idea knowing that the Sparus will become aware of Tourmaline. If she actively uses her magic on it, effectively making what she saw earlier in her vision self-fulfilling.

Meanwhile, after Runyon mill-worthy leads a raid at Imogen's home. Agrius is sent as an Envoy to meet Lenora Joe and Walley in Carnival Row to deliver a message from Castor Agrius doesn't realize until it is too late that the message he is delivering is about his and images and subordination. In the final scene, Agrius and Imogen share a kiss in public as they introduce electricity to the Berg.

Carnival Row Season 3: Renewal or Cancellation?

When Carnival Row finally dropped on Prime Video in August 2019.

Carnival Row had its second season finale on March 17, ending the latest installment of Prime Video’s fantasy noir series. Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne returned as Philo and Vignette, respectively, a detective and faerie navigating dangerous tensions between humans and mythical creatures in the titular Row.

Sadly, there won’t be any waiting at all: Carnival Row is officially over. Season 2 served as the show’s swan song, with promotional materials describing the entry as the “final season” and an “epic conclusion.” But even if you knew this was the last season, it’s natural to wonder what went into that decision — especially since the show was originally conceived as a larger-scale story.

Carnival Row‘s first season was released in its entirety on Amazon Prime Video on August 30, 2019. In July 2019, Amazon renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on February 17, 2023, and served as the series' final season, concluding on March 17, 2023. Now, fans are eagerly waiting for another season to be aired on Prime Video. There is no official trailer released yet for season 3 but you can watch the “Carnival Row” season 2 trailer.
