BTS will return to live performances in the fall of 2020, beginning with a sold-out run of four shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, followed by a performance as an opening act at the 102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball on December 3. Despite being a late addition to the lineup, which also includes Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, and Lil Nas X, the KPop hitmakers are sure to be a hit.
According to a statement on the KIISFM website, the group will open the show with performances of their singles Dynamite and Butter. This year's concert will take place on December 3 at The Forum, and tickets have already sold out on the primary market, though there appear to be large quantities available on resale websites.
Several fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that BTS was not announced as a part of the show until after tickets had already gone on sale and been sold out – particularly in light of the disaster that was the ticket sales process for the SoFi stadium performances, which will be BTS's first live performances since the outbreak began. More than a few people took to Twitter to express their displeasure with the radio station's decision in the threads that followed the announcement.

The Jingle Ball Tour, which is taking place in several major markets with radio stations under the iHeartRadio banner, will only have a stop in Los Angeles, and BTS will only be performing on the Los Angeles edition. Many of the artists on the LA bill will perform at the event's flagship location in New York, including Sheeran, Dua Lipa, and Lil Nas X. Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. are among the other cities on the tour's itinerary.
