What Can You Expect From Episode 281 of Boruto?
The Labyrinth Game Arc will end with Boruto episode 281, which is called “The Eighth Truth.” In the episode before, Mr. Kiseru told Boruto that everyone who died was part of a genjutsu. Kiseru was suspicious of everyone else, so he couldn't tell them he was a spy, so he made Boruto wake up from the genjutsu.
In the next episode, Boruto will fight the last enemy, which is probably Rokuro. In the process, Boruto may also have to fight Yatsume, who seems to be under Rokuro's control since she got a cut on her leg and was then shown to be under his control.
What Happened in the Last Episode?
Boruto episode 280, titled Breakthrough, had Boruto approach Mr. Kiseru about the killings of Batta and Fugo after suspecting the latter after hearing what Rokuro had to say. Namua, however, killed himself so that Shamo, Yatsume, and Rokuro could pursue Mr. Kiseru with Boruto.
The conflict begins when both sides begin to use Jutsu against each other. At the same time, Sarada, Mitsuki, and Kawaki were spotted attempting to close in on Boruto's location when they came upon some Konoha's Anbu members. They discovered that Kiseru was an undercover agent from them.
Meanwhile, Shamo and Yatsume get the same information via Kiseru's scroll. As a result, Shamo attempts to interrupt their battle, injuring himself in the process. As a result, Kiseru decided to assist Boruto in breaking free from the alleged genjutsu.
