Boruto Chapter 79 Recap
Boruto chapter 79 shows Eida taking advantage of Kawaki's lack of a discernible chakra signal. Eida uses her formidable Seringan to find Kawaki and make him an alliance offer; Kawaki stands to gain greatly from working with Eida.
However, Amado is eager to see Kawaki since he has a mechanism implanted in him that will activate upon their encounter and aid in stopping Kawaki. Even though Amado wants Shikamaru to see his side of the story, his motives are not entirely honorable.
After Kawaki is defeated, Amado wants to be free to leave so he can bring his daughter back to life, as Ishiki had promised. Consuming the all-powerful fruit would grant Ishiki access to Shinjutsu, allowing him to grant Amado's last, desperate wish.
The next chapter of the manga is really touching as Kawaki reveals his true motivation for wanting to save Konoha and Naruto. Kawaki clearly has deep feelings for Naruto because Naruto took him in as a family member and provided him with the love and attention he had been desperately lacking.
In addition, Naruto gave Kawaki purpose and love and cared for him when he was down. Then, Eida reveals that she possesses an additional ability: Shinjutsu. Momoshiki had previously stated that an Eida with a human body could never be possessed by Shinjutsu.
Then, Eida flips the script on history and makes Kawaki and Boruto become polar opposites. Boruto has become the series' antagonist, and Kawaki's new name is Uzumaki Kawaki. In a single stroke, Eida completely rewrote our understanding of the world.
Boruto Chapter 80 Spoiler
After the shocking conclusion of Chapter 79, fans have been left with many questions about what will happen in Chapter 80 and beyond. One theory holds that the Uchihas would once again become the community's enemies if Boruto does not forge an alliance with Code.
This would cause split within the village. Since Code is in the dimension of 10 tails, fans have speculated that he may not have been influenced by Eida's memory tampering. My guess is that Boruto will face off against Kawaki or, as depicted in the leaked manga, Mitsuki, and that he will struggle and ultimately “die” throughout the course of the fight.
One of two things will happen: either Boruto will be mortally wounded and Sasuke will use Genjutsu on Sarada or Mitsuki to create an opening for him afterward, or Boruto will use the Jougan to teleport to another dimension during the battle or afterward to a place where he can be cured or escape the battle.
Mount Myoboku could be the place where Boruto meets Kajin Koji and is granted Sage Mode. In light of everything that has happened, Sarada may be able to steal the Mangekyo Sharingan from it.
After this point, the “time skip” begins. Some have speculated that Boruto and Kashin Koji will create a friendship like Naruto and Jiraiya's, while others have speculated that Sarada and Sumiré will have to kill Eida to undo the mind control.

This would be in line with his earlier claim that he deserved to be hated more than anyone else. Sasuke might also choose to believe Sarada's account and align with Boruto's group. Last but not least, there is a nagging fear that Eida has exposed Amado's past actions through his manipulation of his memory.
Some viewers think Amado hid his genuine intentions from his daughter by fabricating a story—a story that Eida's abilities would later disprove.
