The actor's death came in the middle of his “I Don't Do Negative” stand-up comedy tour. On January 8, 2022, he had just finished his second performance in Jacksonville, Florida. Saget took to social media just hours before his body was discovered, gushing about his tour experience.

He posted an Instagram photo of himself doing stand-up comedy, “I'm back in comedy like I was at age 26.” To paraphrase, “I'm finding my new voice and loving every minute of it.” I'm going to stop at nothing until I obtain the perfect shot.

Bob Saget's Early Life
Robert “Bob” Lane Saget was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in May 1956 to parents Benjamin, a supermarket executive, and Dolly, a hospital administrator. Saget and his family moved to Philadelphia from Encino, California when he was a kid, but they returned to California when he was a teenager to attend high school.
As a young man, Saget wanted to go into medicine as his mother did. However, after being encouraged by his high school English instructor to choose a career in film and television, he changed his mind. This was, without a doubt, a life-changing piece of wisdom.

The authorities have ruled that Bob passed from head trauma. They have decided that he accidentally banged the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, and went to sleep,” the family’s statement continued. “No drugs or alcohol were involved.

For weeks before Bob Saget’s cause of death was officially declared, authorities believed that all indicators pointed to a sudden heart attack or stroke, citing TMZ.
According to Fox Orlando, Saget’s body was taken from the hotel where he was found dead at the age of 65 on January 9, 2022, and brought directly to the Orange County Medical Examiner’s office where an autopsy was performed.

As reported by the outlet, at the time, a spokeswoman said that it could take up to 120 days to discover what caused Bob Saget's death. Since his abrupt passing, many hypothesized whether Bob Saget’s cause of death was related to a heart attack.
Benjamin Saget, Saget's father, passed away on January 30, 2007, due to heart failure issues, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. We now know that Bob Saget did not die of heart disease, which can sometimes run in families.

According to authorities who spoke to TMZ, the comedian was apparently lying face-up on the bed, with his left arm over his chest and his right arm resting beside him when he was found. The site speculated at the time that the hand across his chest may hint at Bob Saget’s cause of death being a heart attack, but as we know, this was simply speculation.
