When Will Blonde Come?
Blonde, a biopic of Marilyn Monroe by Netflix, will debut on the streaming service on September 23, 2022.
- The movie was postponed, but Netflix hasn't revealed why; it was initially scheduled for release on September 23.
- The first trailer for the movie was previously made public, and to put it mildly, and it received mixed reviews.
- Many questioned the choice of De Armas for the role of Monroe because the actress, who most recently appeared in The Gray Man, is Cuban. This seemed to annoy some of Monroe's ardent admirers.
- Like most things in life, this storm in a teacup happened on social media, so if you aren't connected to that particular network, you probably missed it.
- De Armas, though, is a phenomenally talented actress, so I am confident in her ability to deliver as usual.
- In response to the uproar, she is fantastic in it, said Brad Pitt, named as a producer. That is a challenging dress to fill.
The organization in charge of Monroe's estate expressed similar approval for the choice of De Armas for the lead. It made the following declaration.
What Is The Blonde Plot?
Blonde's status as a biopic isn't in question; Netflix and the movie's creators have said that it will be a “retelling,” which is a lovely way of expressing that much of the events depicted will be dramatized for more significant dramatic effect.
- With biopics, this is always the case; they are never entirely accurate to life. But because of this, they are frequently very contentious, especially among ardent supporters of the story's protagonist.
- Just have a peek at The Doors by Oliver Stone. Although it was excellent, many people, including the band's actual living members, condemned Stone's portrayal of Jim Morrison.
- Fair enough, Blonde has an excellent cast, director, and production crew. The assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford is only one of the fantastic films that the movie's director, Andrew Dominik, has produced.
- Blonde's producer Brad Pitt and Andrew Dominik have a long history together.
- Dominik also authored the screenplay for Blonde, which was adapted from the same-named book by Joyce Carol Oates.
Since Nick Cave is confirmed for the soundtrack, Blonde's original soundtrack album should be pretty intriguing. Nick Cave doesn't produce subpar songs. Netflix will start streaming Blonde on September 28, 2022.

Blonde is a dramatized biography of Marilyn Monroe based on Joyce Carol Oates' book of the same name (opens in new tab).
