Black Mirror Season 6 Release Date: When Will It Air?

Since no official release date has been confirmed and no trailers have been shown, it seems unlikely that the streaming behemoth would debut a new season this year.

Black Mirror Season 6 may premiere as early as 2023 if Netflix and Banijay complete an agreement by 2020. This is because the COVID-19 epidemic has grown less difficult thanks to immunizations, allowing more and more film and TV projects to continue production. It's unlikely that new episodes will be broadcast in 2022, though, because there has been no news concerning the show's return.

Season 6 of Black Mirror will not premiere on Netflix until November 2022.

Who Will Be the Cast in Season Six of Black Mirror?

A report from Variety says that the sixth season will have a star-studded cast with a focus on TV actor prestige. This is similar to the fifth season, which had big names like Andrew Scott, Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, and even Miley Cyrus.

Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad is one of the most intriguing candidates. So is Danny Ramirez from Top Gun: Maverick, Zazie Beetz from The Joker, Paapa Essiedu from I May Destroy You, and Kate Mara from House of Cards.

Black Mirror Season Plot

The anthology format of “Black Mirror” makes it difficult to speculate on what may happen in future seasons, much like the show's actors, since each episode stands on its own. However, each episode takes place in the same universe, with references to other episodes and similar technologies serving as Easter eggs.

Considering the current epidemic, it would be fascinating to watch how a dystopian program like “Black Mirror” handles the situation. Maybe there's a story in which technology facilitates communication, or maybe there's a story about how technology warps reality when all a person has to interact with the world is a screen. Can we have a narrative about a pandemic that happens hundreds of years from now?

Should more installments of “Be Right Back” be made, it would be fascinating to observe how the android Ash (Gleeson) portrays the character's ages. As he ages and learns more, is he still the same person? Or does he gradually become an abomination as time passes? Like a more twisted version of “The Good Place,” we can picture a world where the victims of “White Bear” manage to break out from their torture by reliving the same terrible day over and over again before having their memories erased.
