Better Call Saul Season 5

“Pew, pew!” says the choir. Many programs would struggle to take a character's expression on such an inoffensive sound effect and turn it into yet another horrifying example of outstanding character work.

Then again, “Better Call Saul” isn't like most other television series in that it isn't like them. While the sixth and final season of the “Breaking Bad” spin-off/prequel series “Better Call Saul” is set to premiere on AMC in just a few weeks

Fans of the series who have been forced to wait quite a long time since the series' last episode aired and who have been subjected to a constant deluge of countless other shows competing for our attention in the meantime would be forgiven for needing to refresh their memories about all of the game.

Unfortunately, the many months that have passed since the dramatic season 5 finale broadcast on April 20, 2020, have passed without any of those episodes being made accessible to stream on the Netflix streaming service.

As of right now, only seasons 1-4 of “Better Call Saul” have been made available for streaming on the internet platform, making it extremely impossible for any of us to recall the specifics of season 5.

I'd like to take a brief moment to extol the virtues of physical media, which provides us, filthy consumers, with the ability to dictate when we want to watch our favorite media, rather than relying solely on the various streaming and distribution agreements that streaming services are required to adhere to for us to watch our favorite media.

As for the rest of us who can't afford to purchase each season or are simply too lazy to do so, there is finally some good news on the streaming front.

Using the official Netflix account on Twitter, the company has produced a “new” teaser, which is made up entirely of material we've already seen from episodes from the previous season, to reveal when season 5 of “Better Call Saul” will officially premiere on Netflix. Check it out in the video below!

Teaser for Better Call Saul Season 5 Is Out

It's all good, man. Everything is fine. After years of anticipation, season 5 of “Better Call Saul” will premiere on Netflix on April 4, 2022, joining the previous four seasons. Depending on the ability of the bigger audience to binge-watch the show

That should provide enthusiastic fans with just enough time to relive the full of the previous season and prepare themselves for the final season which is planned to launch only a few short weeks later in April.

Season 5 is made of a total of 10 episodes, as have all of the previous seasons, and it continues to be chock-full of very skilled writing that further propels Jimmy McGill down the dark and sad path that leads him to become the cruel criminal lawyer known as Saul Goodman.

Better Call Saul Season 5

Season 5 of the hit show was set in 2004, four years before Saul Goodman's character, Jimmy, would meet Bryan Cranston's character, Walter White, in “Breaking Bad.” The season focused primarily on Jimmy's continued fall from grace, which was juxtaposed against the rise of the ruthless Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton), who was establishing a greater presence in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

The numerous strands involving Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), Nacho Varga (Michael Mando), cartel drug boss Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), and Jimmy's on-again/off-again romantic companion (and fellow attorney) Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) all came to a peak and came to a head in the final episode.

Jimmy and Kim narrowly escaped a suspicious Lalo, Nacho's attempted assassination of Lalo, and the shocking final moments where it appeared as if Kim herself was on the verge of breaking bad

A devastating development for all of us who want this lovable character, who doesn't appear at all in “Breaking Bad,” to survive the carnage of the final season unscathed — to happen.

“Better Call Saul” is developed by “Breaking Bad” veterans Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould and is set in the Los Angeles area. In the episode, Bob Odenkirk appears with Rhea Seehorn and Jonathan Banks; Patrick Fabian (as Howard Hamlin); Michael Mando; Tony Dalton; Giancarlo Esposito; and other actors and actresses.

The first half of the last season is set to premiere on AMC on April 18, 2022, with the second half following on April 25, 2022.
