Season 6 of Love is Blind is as dramatic as ever, and things are just becoming more intense. The second half of the season premiered on February 21 to an excited audience, and viewers watched as the couples transitioned from the warm glow of their collective honeymoon to the harsh reality of the real world.
However, before they could resume their normal lives, things began to change. In the sixth episode of the season, titled “Feeling Uncomfy,” what began as a joke quickly escalated into jealousy and annoyance, resulting in conflicts among several of the cast members.
It all started with a little joke between the girls, which quickly traveled to the guys and became a much bigger issue. Many viewers have never heard the term “bean dip,” yet any girl who has been in a locker room knows all about the deed.
What is Bean Dip in Love is Blind?
In Episode 6 of Love Is Blind Season 6, Laura, a 34-year-old account director, joked to her boyfriend, Jeramey, a 32-year-old intralogistics expert, that he should “bean dip” AD, a 33-year-old real estate broker.
Jeramey informs the group about Laura's joke, which both AD and Clay, AD's fiancee and a 32-year-old enterprise sales/entrepreneur, find strange.
AD explains to Laura that her remark did not come across as a joke, but Laura is more concerned with getting back at Jeramey for embarrassing her and informing the others about her “bean dip” remarks.
Laura's scolding irritates Jeramey, who tells her he wants to return home—not to their hotel on vacation, but to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they both live.
So, what does Bean Dip imply in Love Is Blind Season 6? A bean dip, according to Urban Dictionary, is when someone “raises the underboob of a man or woman with your index and second finger.”
Another definition of bean dip is “to flick a woman's (or man's) breast with the index finger.” A third definition defined “bean dip” as a “funny word known as scooping one or another's boob.” Given the sexual connotation of “bean dip” and Laura's presumably lighthearted request for her fiance to touch another woman's breasts, it's obvious that AD and Clay didn't find her comment funny.
“AD had the worst choices, then these women were insecure around her because she has a good body, because why would you tell your man to “bean dip” another woman?” one user tweeted.#LoveIsBlindS6.
Another user tweeted, “Not Laura attempting to undermine Clay's feelings regarding the bean dip joke. Why did you inform Jeramey about it in the first place? Shoutout to AD for checking on her. “#LoveIsBlindS6 #LoveIsBlind #LoveIsBlind6.”
One additional person commented, “It's disgusting how they're sexualizing AD. From Jimmy's overstepping and flirting with her to the ridiculous bean dip ‘joke', #LoveIsBlindS6.”
Clay also discussed the bean dip scene from Love Is Blind in a February 2024 interview with People. “I believe I expressed my reaction.” When he first stated it, I was like, ‘Bro, what are you talking about?'.” Clay stated.

“But Jeramey and I have had some strange banter in which we discussed such topics. So it didn't completely throw me off. I was astonished that Jeremy stated that right there at that time, but I wasn't surprised that he did.” He continued, “There is no bad blood. I didn't even consider it the next day.”
AD also revealed to people that she and Laura were right following the Bean Dip Love Is Blind fiasco. “I don't relish that moment too much because it didn't affect me,” AD went on to say. “And I'm surprised that it upset them so profoundly. So, I don't think about it too much. … It was a feminine thing that translated and went left, I believe.”
