Why Did Evelyn Leave The Show?

After receiving terrible reviews during its ninth season, it was unclear whether the show would continue at all after season nine.

Basketball Wives Season 10 Review

The network, however, has worked its magic and has resurrected the show for a tenth season, but Evelyn will not be joining the girls.

Evelyn is no longer a part of the cast, and she announced her departure from the show last year, stating that she would be leaving for good.

She added that she felt ready to move onwards and upwards and open herself up to more opportunities since she felt ready:

Basketball Wives is no longer an option for me. I believe it is past time for me to broaden my horizons and explore new possibilities.

The OG’s Are Back

Aside from the MVPs we just named, we will happily see some of our favorite faces return as they prepare to bring the drama back.

Jackie Christie, Jennifer Williams, and Malaysia Pargo will all be back, as will executive producer Shaunie O'Neill, who will remain in the mix.

Angel Brinks will also be returning to the show; she appeared briefly during season five and will be back five seasons later, pregnant this time.

However, Angel's situation does not appear to be ideal, as the trailer depicted the females berating her about her baby daddy's suspicions.
