Twitter went crazy when images of the two rollerskating together surfaced near Venice Beach in Los Angeles.
The two are wearing matching neon yellow knee protectors and neon pink lycra.
The dress was modeled after Barbie, and the two costumes are nearly identical.

For best director and best original screenplay for Lady Bird in 2017 and best-adapted screenplay for Little Women in 2019, Gerwig has received two Oscar nominations.
