Season 5 of Baki has yet to be revealed (or Baki Hanma). Netflix released the fourth season on September 30, 2021, therefore it's too soon to say if a fifth season will be released. However, there is enough manga material to adapt, so a fifth season is extremely likely.
As a result, there is a lot of curiosity regarding Baki's upcoming fifth season, so we decided to dive deep and offer you the most up-to-date information we could find on the show.
Will There Be a Fifth Season of Baki?
All twelve episodes of Baki Hanma, which debuted on Netflix on September 30, 2021, are now available to watch. Baki Hanma is the third season of the Baki anime to be published on Netflix, following two seasons released in 2018 and an ONA season. Baki the Grappler had two episodes on Toonami in 2001.

You can view the franchise's actual in-universe chronology on our page, but that's not the issue here. Even though the tales are very loosely connected, all of the animated content in the canon anime universe and the new ONA series are essentially continuations of the original anime series. This is everything you should know about the situation.
On a basic level, this is unimportant because the ONA series does not contradict the original anime in any way, making it easy to watch. I've written a brief description to help make sense of the show's sometimes befuddling plot structure. What does this imply for the likelihood of a fifth season?
There is much space for improvement. There is plenty of material to adapt from the manga that we have seen so far for the fifth season of the show. Though talk of a fifth season is likely, we still don't know for certain.
Baki Season 5 Release Date
We can't truly predict a release date because we don't know whether Baki season 5 will be made, especially given the franchise's lack of a consistent release schedule, with some releases taking decades.
There was a seven-year gap between the first OVA and Baki season 5, which was released in 2001. The anime and the second OVA episode were separated by 15 years. Baki Season 1 began two years ago, followed by Baki Season 2 a year and a half later.
After another year and a half of work, Baki Hanma was finally released. Based on how frequently Netflix releases Baki adaptations, we expect a new Baki season will debut in 2023 or late 2022. We can't rule out the potential that it will premiere in 2024 or later. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
Baki Season 5 Plot
Baki's story revolves around fighting, fighting, and more fighting! Manga arcs were employed to break up the fighting, thus the franchise has a much wider plot to track the characters' development.
Two manga arcs – Combat Shadow Fighting and Great Prison Battle – were adapted for television when the Baki Hanma ONA aired in 2021. So, what can we expect from a potential fifth season of ‘The Walking Dead‘?
Adaptations of the Pickle Wars Saga, Warrior's Struggle Saga, and Strongest Father-Child Quarrel Saga for the Baki Hanma manga are still possible. Because Pickle is such an important character in the franchise, the Pickle Wars Saga is the most likely candidate for adaptation.
Following Baki's struggle with Biscuit Oliva, the world's experts discover Pickle — a prehistoric caveman. “He's sent to Mitsunari Tokugawa, where he faces a lot of famous fighters,” Pickle explains. Pickle is an important Baki character, and seeing him on television would be a nice sight. Baki also has to deal with the Ogre.
This chapter might be skipped entirely and the Baki Hanma plot picked up at the end. Baki Hanma is followed by two new manga series: Baki-Dou, which is a continuation of Baki, the Grappler's saga, and Baki Hanma, which is a continuation of Baki Hanma.
Cast
The main characters — those who have survived, of course – will almost certainly return in some form or another. The same actors will probably certainly reprise their roles in Baki Season 5.
There will very probably be a plethora of new characters introduced in the subsequent seasons… It's difficult to predict which manga arc will be converted into a film. As a result, we cannot predict which characters will make their Baki season 5 broadcast debut.
