Darcey & Stacey season 3 finale filmed in Miami, Florida, shows Georgi, 34, asking for a second time in front of her daughters Aniko and Aspen. Darcey and Georgi had reconciled by then, despite having broken up in season 2 due to his interaction with her 90-Day Fiancé star ex Jesse Meester and his lack of candor regarding his legal marriage to ex-wife Octavia.
On February 28th, Darcey stated that she and Georgi, 34, had broken up after his second proposal. Darcey said, “He ran out of chances,” when asked why she decided to stop the relationship for good, although she stressed that she has no ill will toward him. Was this a moment of realization for him? For me, yes.
She tells Life & Style, “I don't believe it got him till afterward, and he was in amazement, but I just said, ‘I told you, you know, once it left here, my heart followed and I just… I can't.' Darcey explained to Entertainment Tonight in August 2020 that Georgi was different from her previous boyfriends. “To tell the truth, I couldn't be happier with where my life is at the moment. I'm a compassionate person, and he's a fantastic human being “Those were her exact words at the moment. Unfortunately, Darcey won't be getting her happily ever after with Georgi, because the pair have called off their second engagement.
“It was a decision that I took privately for me and my girls,” Darcey told ET in an interview for the upcoming show The Twins Tell All. “I spoke up because I could tell that things weren't improving in our relationship; we still weren't able to talk to each other. I accept responsibility for my actions, but I felt like I had to leave. And as soon as it was out of my head, it was out of my body too. I had enough of him.”
Darcey's dad, Mike, discusses his daughter's connection with Georgi in an E! sneak look at the show. Mike says that he knows his daughter is looking for a relationship but that he doesn't think Georgi is the right one, and that's why he wouldn't be happier if she weren't with him. To add insult to injury, he doesn't think Georgi feels the same way about Darcey.
But Darcey says, “I feel like to get what he needs and desires and wants,” so it's clear that she doesn't always feel “in love” with her fiance. It appears that she kept attempting to make things work during production despite everything.
