Fans of Netflix reality shows have been catching glimpses of Damian Powers, a contestant from Love is Blind Season 1, as he recently made an appearance on the new series Perfect Match. Much of the public has assumed that Damian is no longer dating Giannina Gibelli because of his involvement in another dating show.
In the initial season of Love is Blind, Damian and Giannina's relationship was complex. Before Damian finally told Giannina “no” to marrying him, causing her to cry, they got engaged in the pods and even made it down the aisle together. Still, by the time of the reunion, they had made up, and it appeared like they were willing to try again with their love.
The fans were taken aback when Damian appeared on the After the Altar special of season 1, not just because he had a date, but because he was dating Francesca Farago, a participant on Too Hot to Handle.
Damian maintained that he and Francesca had a platonic relationship, but it wasn't a pretty sight after a vicious altercation between Francesca and Giannina.
Are Damian and Giannina Still Together?
No, Damian and Giannina are not together. Giannina revealed her breakup with ET in 2021, so it's been a while since they broke up.
“At this point, I am officially single,” she declared. She went on to say, “It's been a few months since Damian and I stopped dating.
I've moved on. I'm feeling incredibly happy. I can honestly say that I'm in a great spot in my life. Despite not having any regrets, she said the breakup felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulders.
There are undoubtedly lessons to be learned from all forms of love. I took a lot of lessons from that, she said.

“We were just very different in a relationship, and I think that's very clear,” she went on. That's all fine—opposites do attract, after all—but with us, I think it was our communication style that prevented us from truly understanding each other. That was how things were all the time.”
Who Is Damian Powers?
Although Damian Powers was born in Germany, he was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and currently resides there. Damian was the general manager of an industrial supply company when Love is Blind cast him.
Nevertheless, since appearing on the show, he doesn't appear to be in that role any more. He can now make additional money and continue to interact with Love is Blind fans thanks to his five-star review on Cameo.
