Arcane Season 2 Release Date: The first season of Arcane came out of nowhere and became one of Netflix’s most popular shows of 2021. It also won three Emmys and eight Annie Awards. The lore for the show came from the real-time strategy video game League of Legends, but the story is original because the characters in the video game had only short backstories.
You don’t have to know a lot about League of Legends to enjoy Arcane, which is one reason why it was such a big hit around the world. But what will the second season of Arcane be about? Which Arcane cast members will be back? When will Arcane Season 2 be available? Although details are scarce, here is what we know about Arcane Season 2.
Release Date of Season 2 of Arcane
Arcane’s second season was announced on November 20, 2021, right after the third and final part of its first season came out. But Netflix hasn’t said when Season 2 of Arcane will be out, and you can pretty much rule out it coming back in 2022.
Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent said that his team was working on Season 2, but that it wouldn’t be out in 2022. This confirmed the news that the show would be coming back.

Laurent says that all the technical processes for Season 2 are already set up, so it won’t take as long as Season 1 did. Since animation takes a long time, we think that Arcane Season 2 will come out in late 2023, but don’t be surprised if it comes out in 2024.
What Will the Plot of Season 2 Be?
The plot of Arcane season two is yet unknown, although it’s almost certain that it will concentrate on Piltover and Zaun, as it did in season one. The disembodied voices of Jinx, Caitlyn, and Vi can be heard near the end of the announcement teaser for Arcane season two, implying that their storylines will be continued in the future season.

Furthermore, the first season of Arcane ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, implying that the first season’s story will be resolved in season two. That is not to imply that other parts of Runeterra will not be explored in the second season.
While Piltover and Zaun are expected to remain at the forefront, other regions such as Noxus and Demacia may be mentioned. Last season, Noxus was teased in some ways, most notably through Mel Medarda’s plotline.

We may anticipate that the same group of characters will return in Season 2. Vi, Jinx, Ekko, Caitlyn, Jayce, and Viktor will play their parts, as well Heimerdinger and Singed.
