Since the first season covered the manga up to volume 5 and there is enough source material for another season, there will be another season.
The storyline of the second season will continue to focus on Hajime and Ritsuko as they become members of the illustrious orchestra club at Umimaku High School, which has been undefeated in its last eight attempts at competing at the national level.
There, they will encounter new adversaries as well as new friends, such as Nao Saeki, a violin genius who puts Hajime's abilities to the test, and Haru Kozakura, a cheery violinist who becomes Ritsuko's buddy. Both of these people play the violin.
They will also confront new challenges and conflicts, such as Hajime's pain from his father's scandal, Ritsuko's insecurity about her potential, and the strain of competing in high-level competitions. They will also encounter new obstacles and conflicts. The connection between Hajime and Ritsuko, which may progress into something more than just a platonic friendship, will also receive additional attention in the second season.
