With the announcement of Anno: Mutationem's release date, it appears that the action-adventure game with RPG features set in a cyberpunk setting will be available on PC, PS4, and PS5 in March.
Given that the title had previously been delayed until 2020, fans who have been looking forward to this title will be relieved to see that Anno: Mutationem will finally be released in 2019.
Of course, there is the elephant in the room, which is Cyberpunk 2077, which ignited the world until it was revealed that it was a buggy, incomplete mess, which then ignited CD Projekt Red, which then ignited the world again.
To be clear, I don't mean in a literal sense, although I'm sure CD Projekt Red's servers were slammed with the sheer volume of complaints and anger received from nearly everyone.
With Anno: Mutationem being an independent title that just so happens to be set in a cyberpunk universe, it shouldn't have nearly as many issues as it does, but it would be impressive if it did. But what exactly is it?
What is Anno: Mutationem?
With the revelation of the Anno: Mutationem release date, there are likely to be a lot of questions about what players may expect from the game. Here are some answers. Players take on the role of Ann, a highly talented lone wolf who has undergone combat training and is on a personal mission in the enormous Metropolis.
As they progress through the game, they will come across evil mega-corporations, enigmatic fringe groups, and the general weirdness that one would expect from a cyberpunk game.
In case you're interested in checking it out, there's a sample available that will expire after a week, so make sure to check it out on its Steam page.
Anno: Mutationem will be released on March 17, 2022, for the PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. You may add it to your Steam wishlist right now. Keep an eye on our website throughout the next month and beyond for additional details.
