And Just Like That… Carrie Bradshaw and the girls are back for season two of HBO Max's Sex in the City reboot. Since the show's March renewal for a second season, viewers have been eager for updates.
Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) was recently widowed and seeking a resolution to her grief over Mr. Big's death when we last saw her (Chris Noth). We saw her become receptive to dating again after an unsuccessful first try, and it felt like Paris would be the place to go to find it. The additional character arcs added even more depth to the show, and we were already immersed in the lives of Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis).
Whether or whether Miranda (Sara Ramirez) accompanies Che Diaz (Julio Cesar Chavez) to California for her sitcom gig is one of the many plot threads left hanging at the end of Season 1. A former love interest is also said to be joining the cast this coming season.

And Just Like That Season 2 Release Date: When Will It Air?
HBO Max has not yet announced a release date for the second season of And Just Like That…, but if filming starts this year, then we could see the show return as early as 2023.
It is possible that the upcoming season will consist of ten episodes, just like Season 1. In the coming weeks and months, we anticipate that the developers will reveal additional alterations and improvements to the game.
And Just Like That Season 2 Plot
The show will focus on Carrie's new career as host of the podcast Sex and the City, as well as her potential new romance with podcast producer Franklyn. In the meantime, Miranda's (who is now sporting her signature red hair) decision to prioritize her relationship with Che over her job will also have repercussions. No way will Miranda be able to keep living in Los Angeles indefinitely.
It's also likely that Charlotte will keep dealing with the challenges of raising a family as her children age, including Rock's exploration of his or her gender identification. Finally, it will be important to check in on Nya's marriage and Seema's new relationship.

And Just Like That Season 2 Cast
HBO Max hasn't confirmed who will return for Season 2, but it's safe to assume the three main female characters will be among them. John Corbett, another Sex and the City OG has been confirmed by Deadline to reprise his role as Aiden Shaw, Carrie's ex-fiance.
It's unclear at this time what role, if any, Aiden will play in Carrie's life going forward. If her marriage has ended, does she plan on making an effort to date the hot furniture manufacturer? The third time might be the charm.
Since Kim Cattrall famously cut ties with the SATC franchise and wasn't involved in Season 1, it's safe to assume that she won't be reprising her role as Samantha in Season 2. Chris Noth won't either, since his Mr. Big character was killed off before Season 1 even began. The actor was accused of sexual assault, and his participation in the season one finale was subsequently deleted.

It remains to be seen if the new characters Lisa (Nicole Ari Parker), Nya (Karen Pittman), and Seema (Sarita Choudhury) will also return in supporting roles. Most of the characters in the revival were able to resonate with viewers, with the exception of Sara Ramirez's contentious Che Diaz.
