What is the Story of All American?
When Spencer James's coach Billy Baker approaches him about joining his team in Beverly Hills, Spencer's mother Grace and best friend Coop convince him it's an opportunity he can't pass up. Spencer is a rising high school football player and A student at South Crenshaw High.
Billy's son Jordan, who is also the starting quarterback, is less than thrilled to be sharing his father's attention — or the team spotlight — after being forced to move in with Billy and his family in order to protect his transfer permit to Beverly.
While Spencer finds his footing, he befriends Jordan's sister, who has her own demons to face.

In the first episode, “Ludacrismas,” everyone is on holiday break, so Spencer throws an epic Christmas party to get closer to Olivia. Jordan gets news about his hand, but he doesn't know what to do. When Laura makes a change at the office, Coop feels like she's been replaced.
Storyline and Episodes for Season 5 of “All American”
Each episode of the upcoming season is planned to range between 42 and 49 minutes. The season will consist of at least 19 episodes. Please note that as of September 30, 2022, the names and synopses for the vast majority of upcoming episodes are still under development and will be announced in the weeks leading up to their weekly premiere.

Season Five, Episode One: Ludacrismas (Air Date: October 10, 2022) Spencer, taking advantage of everyone's time off for the holidays, plans a spectacular Christmas party with the assistance of JJ and Asher in the hopes that it will bring him and Olivia closer together. Jordan learns about his hand, but he is unsure of what to do. Olivia and Billy have been investigating for weeks, and they finally think they may have found something. If her father's business is ever going to be saved, Layla will have to take matters into her own hands. In the meantime, Coop's feelings of displacement after Laura makes a move at work cause her to contemplate her career prospects.
Season 5 Episode 2: The Hard Truth – Don't Sweat the Technique – October 17, 2022, Now that Spencer's life has hit a low point, he follows the counsel of JJ and Coop and enrolls in college. The tension between Olivia, Billy, and Jordan stems from the return of the latter two's earlier suspicions regarding Coach Garrett. It's Layla's power move to take Patience by surprise. Asher, meantime, has a hard time balancing his role as JJ's coach with his desire to keep the two friends on good terms.
