Alice in Borderland Season 2 Review: A Brilliant Effort That Ends in Flames!

Alice in Borderland, a Japanese battle royale series that was a huge smash on Netflix in 2020, adapted the Haro Aso manga series into a live-action animation with a fast pace, a lot of imagination, and a solid framework. After what seemed like an interminable wait for a second season, here it is. The wait was absolutely worthwhile.

Alice in Borderland Season 2 Review

As promised, Alice in Borderland's second season begins with a street massacre. Arisu's background, gaming expertise & how he's in a similar situation to the game's players make it a perfect approach to start the program. We enjoy Alice in Borderland's wacky anarchy, & season 2 is no different. Shots, characters trying to decipher & high-speed chase scenes.

Arisu & Usagi are still trying to survive despite their new allies in this odd & violent world. Our heroes' emotional anguish as they confront their pasts adds to the horrific brutality. Arisu mourns his colleagues, while Usagi worries about her father's suicide. As the characters debate staying or fleeing, you see how difficult it may be to stay in turmoil forever.

Alice in Borderland Season 2 Review

Rebelling against the “royalty” is encouraged this time of year & it's bloody. This time, the deathmatches are much more horrific, leaving you feeling heartbroken and repulsed. Watching our primary squad lose is hard because of their deep bond.

Because the characters from the first season are so well-established, it's exciting to see new or unfollowed ones. You quickly get to know people & their positive & negative traits affect you. I love Chechnya. His history & brilliance grew on me. Episodes feature each character extensively. It helps us empathize with everyone without slowing the pace.

A blimp following the king of spades & then bursting after the game is won is brilliant. The airship following the king of spades shows the commotion before the firing, which is entertaining. These games dwarf Alice in Borderland's features. They are smart & violent. Most games have an oddity.

The story ends chaotically, leaving you & Arisu confused before giving the answer we've been searching for since 2020. It's a sad & thought-provoking course of events. Though unlikely, it's possible. I would have believed aliens invaded Earth. After 2 thrilling seasons, the finale disappoints. It wasn't bad, but it didn't match the series. If it's what I think, the ending is great.

Is Alice in Borderland Season 2 Worth Watching?

While the show's future is uncertain & will be determined by Netflix's renewal or cancellation, there's little to complain about in terms of the season's entertainment value.

Alice in Borderland Season 2 Review

The games are exciting, the psychological undercurrent is intriguing & the human element at the story's center, which highlights the severity of the damage being inflicted & the little likelihood of life returning to normal thereafter, is what keeps readers hooked. To a certain extent, Alice In Borderland deserves its self-absorption because it is such a beautifully made program.
