So, let’s have a brief look at the plot of the story:
A Brief Overview of the Mosquito State
The culmination of finance, mystery, and horror is one element that is best in this movie. This movie is set in the timeline of 2008, the worst financial crisis that crippled big corporate giants to beggars. Wall Street believes it has the ability to foresee the future. Analysts appreciate data, which is the world's most precious money. Richard Boca is one of them, and the algorithm he created made him wealthy.
His nearly obsessive love with flying insects, particularly bee activity, prompted him to design the “Honeybee” analytical model, which may be used to forecast financial market movements. He chooses to build a new analytical model based on swarms of mosquitoes rather than bees after having a dream.
Boca recognises that, in this fast-paced environment, Wall Street has reached a tipping point that threatens to disrupt the whole market. When he meets the lovely Lena at a party and learns that she is funding her education by working in a wine bar, he invites her to his apartment and they get along swimmingly.
The data analyst lives in a penthouse with a view of Central Park in New York City. Mosquito swarms have filled Boca's flat, but he dials up the heat and feeds the insects, which hatch in the hundreds, with fruit. It can't be furious with the insects even if a bite on one cheek swells to the size of a chicken. He resembles the elephant man due to the grotesque swellings on his face and torso.
Its not finished yet, but I will not tell you the ending because you need to watch it yourself once it get released. I bet that you will be shocked to see the ending.
