Let’s See What Project She Is Up to Now!!!
The movie “200 Halla Ho” is a factual presentation of a revolution that was led by women for their own rights and freedom. The women have been alluded to the ultimate basic right, the right to dignity. The women have been fohjti3for centuries to get it.
200 Halla Ho is a heart-wrenching story of 200 Dalit women fighting oppression and discrimination. It is a story of the time when for straight 15 years, justice is denied, and Dalit women were mocked, leading to criminals becoming complacent of the laws.
Since time immemorial, Dalits and women have been marginalised and subjected to all sorts of torture and atrocities. Their dignity has been stripped of them, and they have seen far worse than just rape. All such acts of injustice have been predicated on an age-old caste system. People still believe that familial hierarchy must be the basis of stature and respect. But wait for a moment and reflect on this.
What is their fault? They were never given a choice to be born as Dalit
In fact, what is caste? They are humans just like us, all completely the same, but our society keeps forgetting that and discriminates against others.
What Is Story Behind 200 Halla Ho
Dalit women are suffering much more than anyone. They are being raped many times and are still not raising their voice due to fear of murder threats from these so-called higher class men who ruin their lives like it’s their own right.
Reading this, your mind must be devastated thinking how pathetic and shameful one can be, leaving behind their humanity and still being called humans.
As it popularly said that, justice delayed is justice denied, but here it seems like the rights of Dalit women are not just denied but killed by authorities too. Corruption and money exceeded the security or basic dignity of women.
That’s when they chose to raise their voice, and the voice of Usha Narayne became the catalyst as all the villagers get inspired by her courage of threatening the bully and ging him a taste of his own medicine.
A single step of standing against justice can lead to such a revolt: which ended up in 200 women taking the law into their own hands, and prosecuting Balli Chaudhary, who had been terrorizing almost 300 families. The collective resolve of the women had made him go down on his knees, ashamed as they made him apologize publicly for his misconduct. This movie is based on real-life Incidents from the city of Nagpur in Maharashtra.
The minds behind the movie believe that it will be a force of change. The movie appeals to the conscience of the masses and forces them to re-evaluate their ideologies. It is surely a very firm step towards complete social equality. The movie is releasing on ZEE5 on August 20, 2021. Buckle up and get ready to witness a story that is gonna leave you inspired, astonished and at the same time give a jolt to your consciousness.
