Top Five Picks:

1. Cleveland Browns: Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
The Browns are in a tough spot. They should take Bradley Chubb and pair him with Miles Garrett and add to that young defense. However, they also need to get a back who can pound the ball. Drafting Barkley will give the Browns a nice back to pair with DeShone Kizer.

2. New York Giants: Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA

The Giants and Eli Manning look to be heading for a break up. The Giants need some one who can be a leader from day one and pick up where Eli left off. They have a great defense and have the weapons on the offensive side of the ball that will make Rosen succeed in the league.

3. Indianapolis Colts: Bradley Chubb, DE, North Carolina State

After both the Browns and Giants pass on the best pass rusher in the draft, the Colts snag Chubb. They get a player that can change the defensives unit for years to come and make any QB or RB scare to face the Colts.

4. New York Jets (Via Cleveland Browns via Houston Texans): Sam Darnold, QB, USC

Trade: The Jets send the number 6 and 72 pick in this year’s draft and their first rounder next year to take Darnold. I think he  would have been there at six but the Jets aren’t chancing it.

5. Denver Broncos: Josh Allen, QB, Wyoming

After a few seasons of bad play from the QB spot, the Broncos give up on Paxton Lynch.  Josh Allen has a strong arm and there seems to be a love affair with the Broncos and Allen.

The North Division Picks

8. Chicago Bears: Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama

The Bears have their Quarterback and Running Backs of the future. All they need now is a number one Wide Receiver and that will come in the face of Calvin Ridley. Coming out of Alabama, Ridley will show that he and the Bears’ offense can be a dangerous unit.

14. Green Bay Packers: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU

Both Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb are getting old and have injury concerns, so the Packers will look to add a better WR for when one of them has to miss time.

30. Minnesota Vikings: Tremaine Edmunds, LB, Virginia Tech

The Vikings get a steal at 30. Edmunds is a top 10 pick but slips due to other player needs of other teams. He will be an anchor in the defense for the Vikings for years to come.

The Lions Pick

At 20 the Detroit Lions select Arden Key DE out of LSU. Key is one of the most talented pass Rushers in the class. You also get versatility out of Key.  You can have him stand as a OLB if Kerry Hyder is back or have him at DE across from Ziggy, if Hyder needs more time.
