MSZ College Basketball Rankings- Week 10

College Basketball Rankings

New Number 1

We have a new number one team (again) this week as Villanova takes over the top spot after a crazy week of college hoops. Michigan State was number one last week but got absolutely dominated on the road at Ohio State.

Biggest Rise

Florida & Tennessee both went from not ranked to cracking the top 25 this week. Also Texas Tech jumped 9 spots in our rankings this week up to #11 and Virginia jumped 7 spots all the way up to #2.

Texas Tech’s jump came because of their big win over Kansas this past week and Virginia had a great win over North Carolina.

Biggest Fall

The two biggest drops this week were North Carolina who dropped 8 spots and Texas A&M who fell 11 spots down to #22. The Aggies have now dropped 3 games in a row.

Michigan Teams

Michigan held steady in our rankings at #24 while Michigan State dropped 3 spots after their loss against the Buckeyes.
