Interview with Michigan QB Commit Joe Milton

I got a chance to interview the next big thing here at Michigan, quarterback Joe Milton. I interviewed him to let the fans get to know him better.

Question: What made you commit to Michigan?

Answer: “ What made me commit to the University of Michigan, the school itself is great and by me going there I know I will be set for life. The second reason is the coaching staff is awesome, I think with coach Jim Harbaugh and coach pep as my coach we can do big things at Michigan because we are always on the same page.”

Question: How do you feel playing for a coach that has been called a QB specialist?

Answer: “ I feel great because he knows what he’s talking about and I know I can be successful.”

Question: What are you looking forward to most on campus?

Answer: ” Just living a new life and making my family happy and being successful.”

Question: Have you been in contact with any current players?

Answer: ” Yes I know Devin Gil, Devin Bush, Rashan Gary, and Donovan Peoples Jones.”

Question: What do you do to get your mind in the right place before games?

Answer: ” Take a deep breath and refocus”

Question: What is one word or phrase that you want people to know you by?

Answer: “Outstanding”

Question: Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?

Answer: ” In the NFL or somewhere in the sports field.”

Question: What will you do to give back to the UM community and less fortunate people in the Ann Arbor area?

Answer: “Training camps for kids and start something traditional.”

Question: Is Education as important as football to you or are you more concerned about one over another?

Answer: “Yes, Education is important because the cleats going to come off one day.”

Question: Have you seen the new alternate uniforms designed by Jim Harbaugh?  If so, how do you like them?

Answer: “Yes I have seen them, they’re nice and I like them.”

Question: What QB do you try to model your game after?

Answer: ” Joe Milton, I have my own way of playing.”

Question: What were the factors that led you to Michigan?

Answer: “Coaching and atmosphere.”

Question: What are some words to live by?

Answer: “Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you cant do anything.”
